I wish we had been able to spend the entire 10 days in Italy in Florence and at Alloro! WOW! It's right in the center of the city and so close to the train station. The staff were just amazingly helpful and our room was available for us to be in when we arrived at 9AM that morning and it was absolutely GORGEOUS! It was massive and just soooo beautiful! Huge windows and exquisite furniture and decor and the bathroom...the sink was nearly as big as most European showers...lol And there was a bathtub and shower! A beautiful courtyard area and nice elevator. But the most incredible thing was when we told them that we were going to be leaving before breakfast was to be served, he said that he'd bring us something to the room. We were like, oh that's nice...expecting a packaged croissant each and maybe some of that toast stuff. We get back that night...and we have a croissant each, two massive bread rolls EACH, one jar of yoghurt each and milk in the refrigerator, toast, and a selection of butter, jams, and spreads...it was unbelieveable! I absolutely 110% recommend the Alloro!close

it was very nice to stay here in an old place in florence. nice owner who waited until we came. it was later and he was very gentle. also on the last day his father prepared special for us an early breakfast. very nice people, helpfull and friendly.

AMAZING!! Large, beautifully decorated room. Great value! Very nice and helpful staff! Excellent breakfast...brought to your room when you call!! We would stay there again, and again. And I am definitely telling everyone I know about it!!!

It was in a great location, very close to the train station and the center of florence. The room was very large, and had one of the first bathtubs I've seen while traveling through Italy. We enjoyed our stay here a great deal.
