I can only say the best for this little hotel. The only thing that bothered us was the noise coming from the air-conditioner somewhere very close to our window. The staff is great and helpful, the rooms and bathrooms are clean and the location is perfect. Great deal for the price.

Fantastic location - you can't beat how central this is to everything in Istanbul. The staff were friendly as well which is a bonus. Great time, the rooms are small but hey something has to give at this price. Fully recommend.

Rooms are really clean and the staff are always freindly and helpful. It is in a great location within walking distance to all of the attractions but if your looking to meet people or party its probably not the best option for you.

They are extremely nice, BUT charge you for every little thing (and often times too much!) and do not inform you of charges until the bill comes!

I will definitely be staying at Med Cezir whenever I go to Istanbul. I was traveling alone and felt like I stepped into a family's home upon arriving. Erol, the owner, is very helpful and the staff was amazing. I felt right at home and was even sad to leave.

Nice little hotel in a very central location and quiet street. Staff very friendly and willing to help out. Roof top bar and good restaurant with reasonable prices. Would have been good to have air conditioning but the fan worked well. Huge room with ensuite.

There is a handy balcony for smoking and sunbathing in the summer. Med Cesir is excellent located within the restaurants, bazars, cultural events and public transportation. Shared bathrooms for doubles are only 2 rooms to a bathroom, so its never an issue. Bathroom was clean, and not cramped. Great location, right near the Four Seasons, between Aya Sofya and Blue Mosque. Word of caution... the high ratings for this place on Hostel World may be partly attributed to the owner/manager asking very politely, but persistently, for guests to rate the place highly on Hostel World! Having said that, staff are helpful and polite, and 24 hour reception is a major bonus. Med Cezir is not a bad option if you're just looking for a place to sleep, but if we'd had more time to shop around, I would've tried for a place with a rooftop terrace and a bit more space.close
