My friend and I had an AMAZING time at Sydney hostel... the staff is the friendliest and funnest crowd, the hostel itself is in a great area, the view from the 2 (!) terrasses are incredible, great food... my istanbul experience would not have been the same had I not stayed there!

The staff were nice but the place leaked - a lot - and was very dirty. We paid extra for the on suite dorm but the toilet was blocked and the door of the shower fell off. After one night we went over the road to Sultan hostel which I would recommend highly. staff are amazing and will go to extra lengths to help you out. great location. rooms are a little cramped and there are no lockers or locks on doors.

The staff is wonderful ! They will welcome you greatly so that you will feel like being at home. Nice roof terrasse, and the location is great, just around the Blue Mosquee, Hagia Sofia, Topcaki palace... so it is the perfect place for spending some days in Istanbul !

Leuke hostel, heel centraal gelegen,alle high lights op loopafstand. Ontbijt was goedin buffetvorm. Minpunt:wij haddenper e-mailgevraagd om pick up service. Nice and clean in general. Good breakfast. But the streets are quite noisy and it is impossible to sleep with closed windows, because it`s quite stuffy.

Though we had 12 rolls of toilet paper and clean tuffies, i got some serious bed bug bites. it has been a real pain in the ass all trip to have these bites. I even have pictures... dnhef@umich.edu

Couldn't be happier with my choice of hostel in Istanbul. Sydney Hostel is in a great location, has fantastic staff that are welcoming and helpful and the breakfast is delicious! Thanks, guys! Hope to be back. :)

I'm putting 0% because the guy at this hostel, well at least, in october last year, would make people put 100% by pressuring them to do it in front of him. It's not close of being worth 100%

Very nice hostel with excellent staff. Free safe boxes, clean bathroom and a terrace bar with nice view on the roof top. Mustafa pays his saz (guitar) in the evening and if you are very lucky he'll also play some Bryan Adams songs in a bit different interpretation - unforgetable

Very fun hostel. Servıce was excellent and were entertaınıng. Rooftop restaurant and kıtchen you can eat on everyday. Free ınternet very useful.

Great hostel - beer cheaper than ın the surrounding bars and cafes, servıce great too. Free internet is great as well. Cihann the desk guy is very friendly and makes you feel at home! A great place we won't forget

Very helpful staff. There are only two bathrooms but they are new and very well kept. The terrace is fantastic and the staff are fun and obliging. I recommend this hostel.

The price was probably the best in the area and the location was perfect because it was so close to the touristy part of Istanbul. The bathroom was not very well taken care of - it was not dirty as so much run-down. This would be a good place to make some improvements in the future!
