No complaints at all! Location is perfect for sightseeing, staff are very helpful and lots of entertainment organized- belly dance shows, barbecues and more than you wants.. You can't feel lonely here! They're also careful to keep everywhere really clean and tidy.

It was also part of the "hostel" sector, with hostels and guest houses one after the other in the immediate area, as well as mulitple laundry places. This made the place quite active, but the rooms were still quiet. The only real downside was that the water got shut off for about 12-15 hours and only two bathrooms in another wing of the hostel - this caused the expectant problems in such a situation, but overall it was not that bad. Only cautionary note, if you are going to eat in the immediate area, each at the restaurant attached to the hostel that gives discounts to guests, otherwise every other place in the area is very overpriced.close

Although the double rooms are quite small, the place is really nice, the staff is full of nice and helpful people and the hostel is close to the main places you'll want to visit in Istambul. Wonderful.

Fantastic hostel. Lots of character. Nice staff. Quite clean. Very close to the attractions but far away enough to be pretty quiet. The only thing Id mention is that the balcony was not open when I was there .

PROS: Good location on a nice street, free internet and wifi, nice staff, ensuites in dorms CONS: Noise coming from every possible source (pipes, TV, people outside etc) smoking allowed inside (cigarette ash all over the floor, smell etc), beds only have a blanket-no sheet. All in all - not bad...

Located near all major tourist sites which is great but it means everything in the area is expensive...taksim is a much cheaper area to stay. Good sized room, good breakfast, very friendly staff and handy being next to travel agency to book day trips and bus tickets.

nice location. just a few minutes away from the Sultan Ahmet Camii ve Ayasofya. Very nice staff. Internet access is a little slow but there's much else to do in Istanbul, then to sit and check your mails :)

One of the staff members claimed that I had booked a room in the 24 bed dorm even though in my booking email from hostelworld it clearly stated that I had booked the 16 bed. They put me in the 24 bed room. They were rude about it and also told me I was lying about my nationality.

Hard to say much about this place, since the electricity didn't work while I was there. Seemed like it was a nice place, though. Staff were very helpful and kind.

Superb location and a friendly, helpful staff. I would caution against the 24-bed dorm room in the summer, however. The room gets stifling hot and can be unbearable. No air conditioning. The whole building was very hot. Other than that, a great value.

Noise from the street was quite loud and lasted quite late, but I guess it depends also on the location of the room.

Don't bother to stay at this place -dorms are too big and you don't want to spend more than one night in Sultanahmed. T here are a lot better hostels in Taksim - I recomend you the I-House.

The main problem that I had was no-one appeared for the hotel transfer service and I was waiting for 20 minutes. The hostel did not explain this and I was left with a high taxi bill. Apart from that my stay was enjoyable and the location excellent.

Enjoyed my stay there. Very close to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia. The first night they didn't have the two beds we reserved in the same room but the next day they sent us to a better room so it was no problem. Very good.
