The hostel and the staff were great but I do wish the breakfast was better. I particularly got fed up with the white bread after 3 days of it. Even the supply of wholemeal bread would have improved the breakfast.

We were put in a female dorm despite asking not to be, which meant any time in our dorm was in the company of two elderly nudists. When we moved hostels after the first night, impeded by the fact the internet was not working when we arrived, the staff seemed to be blaming us for the fact the hostel was rubbish. We had to pay for two nights just to escape. There was hair on the breakfast they provided and only one shower with a closing door.close

The bathroom is quiet small and it gets dirty very soon. There is no friendly contact with the staff. Only official contact. Not that bad, because the guests are viewing the city during the day.

Rooms were extremely basic and sheets/towels didnt appear 100% clean with some stains on them etc. Also the property urgently needs new furniture and rfurbishment in my opinion, our room was situated next to an asbestos roof, which is dangerous.

One of the best experience in a youth hostel. I was not sure about it, compared to germany or england or spain, but that was actually one of the top! Kudos to the receptionnists! And other young travelers. Thanks all, see you!

Excellent location, right in the midst of everything - minutes away from all the sights: the Blue Mosque, the Basilica Cistern, Aya Sofya. Really close to the tram, too, so not bad for getting to Taksim Square if you want to party all night. The staff all speak English really well, and there's free internet. I don't actually know if the price was good compared to other places in the area, but it seemed pretty cheap to me. Of course, I live in London.close

Sinbad hostel is a nice place to stay. It doesnt fit into normal european standard but its definetly cheap and well located. You can reach a lot of important things by foot. Visit Ali on the roof top and have a nice turkish breakfast up there.
