This was a great place to stay, and right in the heart of Sultanahmet! I only have two complaints and they aren't bad ones at that: 1) The bathrooms left something to be desired, not the cleanest and only one sink; and 2) Don't take them up on their offer to book you a Turkish bath experience... more This was a great place to stay, and right in the heart of Sultanahmet! I only have two complaints and they aren't bad ones at that: 1) The bathrooms left something to be desired, not the cleanest and only one sink; and 2) Don't take them up on their offer to book you a Turkish bath experience because its not with one of the two famous ones you read about and not impressive at all. Don't get me wrong, I got clean, but I wish I could have gone to one of the other ones!close

Two showers and two toilets on the first floor which has 26 people when full........breakfast isn't what you get elsewhere, 13 bed doorm is cramped.

The location is great. The hostel is in the heart of Sultanahmet and with 3 minutes you are at either the Blue Mosque or the Hagia Sophia. We had a 6 bed dorm which was great as we were the only ones. lean rooms but the showers weren't that clean. Ah well, what can you expect from 10 euros a...

The location is great. The staff is very nice but they ripped me off more than double for a hammam package. No locks on the room doors, bring a luggage lock and locker lock for your passport. Paid a little extra for an all-female dorm but saw at least one guy coming in and out to use the lockers... more The location is great. Paid a little extra for an all-female dorm but saw at least one guy coming in and out to use the lockers so there wasn't complete privacy. Room was clean but the bathroom was hit and miss (one bathroom with only one sink for about 30 guys and girls). Bring flip-flops. Overall worth the very low price.close

If you consıder the price, It is nearly perpect. Well organized and in good location. And the staffs are very helpful and kind. I enjoyed this Hostel. Good Luck!

The staff bent over backwards to help us with everything and were very accommodating. One tip: smoking is allowed indoors in Turkey, which isn't something I was anticipating, but upon notifying staff, they wouldn't smoke in my presence.

The staff here are great. Really friendly and helpful, especially the bar staff, and the guy who does the breakfast and serves the food etc was cool. Very good place, nice traditionnal B FAST. They have a restaurant on the top roof and you can get discount. the staff is always smiling and helpful. I was part of the family for my whole staying here. Je recommande a tous les francais qui veulent venir passer un bon moment a ISTANBUL

Big thing for me is the bathroom. Broken toilet seat and a basin that leaked into a different toilet. These are just basics to get right. Toilets seats are cheap and fixing basin would save water and not create a flood in bathroom. Everything else was great.
