I actually became ill while in Istanbul. The receptionist was exceptionally understanding and helpful. I would highly recommend this establishment.

Great place to stay, though back rooms have a noisy railway line below them. Could do with wireless in the rooms.

Very good value for money. Location is excellent, close to all the important sights of old Istanbul. The street on which the hostel is located, however, is quite run-down and doesn't give a very pleasant feeling at night. Another minor point is the train track that is almost adjacent to the back... more Very good value for money. Location is excellent, close to all the important sights of old Istanbul. The street on which the hostel is located, however, is quite run-down and doesn't give a very pleasant feeling at night. Another minor point is the train track that is almost adjacent to the back of the hotel, causing local earthquakes and a great deal of conversation thwarting noise. I would say Naz is more like a hotel than a hostel. It's all very private, the only difference with a 'regular' hotel being that they don't provide meals for lunch and dinner.close

Naz Wooden House was a lovely surprise. The roof terrace had wonderful views of mosques and river. The balcony room with swinging chair was very relaxing. Lovely breakfast and comfy guest slippers. One of the best places we stayed in.

Unfortunately nobody told us about the railway, which is directly behind the house. It sounds like the train is crossing your bed every 20 min. Very bad!!

Friendly & helpful staff. It's all true about the wooden house & Byzantine wall! Great view of Blue Mosque & Sea of Marmara from terrace breakfast bar.

The Inn looks better on the website in actuality. They do not make give you fresh sheets when they make the beds. There are rocks in the bed all the time. There is no hot water to take a shower. They fail to tell you that they charge 25Euro for drop off at the airport. The breakfast is horrible... more The Inn looks better on the website in actuality. Naz Wooden House Inn is simply amazing. We were totally blown away by the location - our room had an awesome veiw of the blue mosque. The staff were so friendly and welcoming.
