There is nowhere to lock up your stuff so if this is a concern bring a cable and a lock to use in your room. The one and only big improvement could be made with the shared bathroom in the basement- one toilet and two showers in a very small space. But they are clean, there is hot water, and for the price, location and staff the Tulip is Excellent overall.close

We were suppose to stay here but ended up staying right next door at Marmara Guesthouse. But since we enjoyed our stay at this guesthouse, location and security applies since the buildings are attached and the owners of Marmara use to own the Tulip building. They spoke highly of Tulip Guesthouse.

The guy running this place couldn't be any nicer. Its a nice little place to stay with friendly atmosphere. We spent a few days there, but actually ended up staying across the road as there was some confusion with some other bookings. I would recommend it.

This is a fantastic place to stay in Istanbul and I would definitely come here to stay again. Emrah was such a great help as we had a lost bag and he helped call the airlines and notified us on our travels outside of Istanbul that our bag had been found. Great value too!!!!

One of the best hostels/guesthouses I've ever stayed at! Metin and Emrah are great fun, hospitable, and generous in their tasty breakfasts, extras like internet, time and knowledge of Istanbul. Wonderfully warm environment in a top location, I'll definitely be back on my next visit to Turkey!!...

The tulip gueshouse is a comfortable bed and breakfast style establishment run by two English-speaking brothers. The rooms are small but cheerful and spotlessly clean. The breakfast is not to be missed.

Tulip Guesthouse is an excelent option to stay. Our room was a triple very cosy and with a private bathroom. Location is one of the best things about it; it has the advantage of not being situated in the main touristic street therefor you have a little bit more privacy. Turkish breakfast is included and you can use the kitchen, besides, the view from the dining room is very nice. Another excelent point is the free internet. They have rooms of all kinds and there's always a good atmosphere, Emrah and Metin work hard to make your stay the best. They know their culture and history and they're really open to talk. Definitely the best place to stay!!close
