This hostel is situated in the best area for tourists: near the sea and less than 5 minutes from historical centre of the city, i just loved the atmosphere and the view from the rooftop!!! The owner, Ilker, is very helpful and friendly.

We booked the hostel for 3 nights, but when we saw the room we were shocked. The room wasn't good. It was very old and no good quality. We went to another hotel.

There were lots of stairs if lugging up heavy bags. The roof top terrace was lovely and breakfast was good. The staff were very good, friendly. Very close to the sights but the immediate vicinity was not that exciting.

This place is great. The staff are amazingly friendly and helpful, gave me towels and arranged for shuttles to the bus stations and helped get my tickets for free. Very clean and right next to the Blue Mosque and Aya Sofia. This place is great.

It is certainly worth it!!! I stayed at the Mavi Onur Guest from the 12th - 16th February with my 2 boys aged 9 and 4. The guesthouse is small but functional and if you overlook the fact that some repairs need doing - it is a great place. The staff are helpful and available 24 hours. The beds are clean and very comfortable and they serve free breakfast every morning up in their terrace which is a great bonus!! The terrace also has views of the top of the Blue Mosque and the sea - beautiful!! The location is excellent with the main tourist sites of Sultan Ahmet just a quick 5 minute walk away. You couldn't ask for a better place if you are travelling on a budget. A basic room with free breakfast for a cheap basic rate!! My boys loved it!!!close

The two staff members were a great help and spoke fluent english. Gave us advice on transport and many other things. The hostel nice, basic but tidy. The terrace is has a nice view and it's close to everything. Listen out for the 5am prayers as it is that close to the Blue Mosque but this only...

Great location for getting to main sites but tends to get a lot of traffic noise. Bathrooms can be a bit smelly. Very friendly staff and pleasant roof terrace. Comfy beds.
