3Ischia is a fab island and alot more value for money than its neighbour capri! restaurants are beautiful and food excellent but be prepared to spend for fish as every visitor wants to eat seafod! the thermal spas are definately worth a visit and are €5 cheaper if you go at lunchtime instead...more Ischia is a fab island and alot more value for money than its neighbour capri! restaurants are beautiful and food excellent but be prepared to spend for fish as every visitor wants to eat seafod! the thermal spas are definately worth a visit and are €5 cheaper if you go at lunchtime instead of the morning which is plenty of time! A word of advice, the bus service is excellent on the island , if you are unsure what bus you need ask any driver they will tell you instantly! It is very cheap and although they look hot they are never as bad as you think and you are never on them for too long! Do not, and i repeat do NOT get a taxi, they are daylight theives and for what should be a 5 minute trip they will take you on a longer one out of the way and charge you from €20-€25 for it, it is the only problem the island has. Beaches are delightful and weather is glorious!close

Sensational! Can't recommend more highly... room was beautifully decorated, but the standout was the garden ourside our room - private, relaxing and quiet. LOVED THIS PLACE.

– posted on Jul 2008 4I felt like I was in a fairy tale when I got to the Pietrodonica. So beautiful and cozy. Even though we got there early the owner made us some cafe and put our backpacks away. There was the best kitchen for our use and right around the corner a perfect little bakerie with the best cookies ever!...

Hotel Imperamare 87%
Manager Nico was a legend, free transport from and to forio port, occasional reductions on meals in the hotel (good traditional ischian food, 4 courses for 12€!), upgrade to better room for no extra cost... it goes on. highly recommended.

– posted on Sep 2008 3Good hotel. Probably one of the best locations on Ischia. Excellent beakfast. We slept in the dependance (was quiet and cool). Very nice and helpful staff. The isle has good bus-connections to all villages. If you come with a car in the summer don't forget to reserve the ferry back.

– posted on Nov 2008 3Best webside with information I ever have seen from a hostel. My low season stay meant that it was very few guests which didn´t bother me, but I have understood that this is a good place for younger people during peak season.

La Rotonda Sul Mare 86%
Excellent value for mone; we would definitely recommend. Very friendly and they had thought of everything. Facilities in the room were excellent.

– posted on Aug 2008 1Its too bad that it rained the entire time we were there. We didn't get any of the perks that the hotel advertised. It may have been because it was out of season, but they shouldn't have let us book the hotel if it wasn't going to be what we expected.
