3She went above and beyond. From the homemade carrot cake to rides into and out of town, staying at the Birchwood House B&B was like staying at a home away from home.

Kirwan House 80%
No computers for internet access... only wifi. Nice kitchen (but no microwave) and eating area, and the little garden looked very nice. The door to my room was always left slightly open (I suppose because you have to really push on it to close it) and there were no lockers... but I didn't feel...

– posted on Nov 2008 9I had never stayed in a hostel before and I had been trying to avoid it, but I had a surprisingly great time at this one and I would stay there again. I felt at home. Its in a great location next to pubs with music right in the heart of Wexford.

A nice park with authentic looking typical accomodation in Ireland from pre-Viking days and beyond. I'm not into history, but found this really interesting. There are guided tours... probably takes about 1.5 hours to get around. Kid friendly. Decent coffee shop on site.
