Great Hostel.. actually it feels more like you are at home. Lil cosy cooking area and common area, with loads nic-nacs hanging off the wall to stare at and start conversations with. Me and My friends had a wonderful time. Thankyou!

Probably the best hostel I've stayed in so far in Europe. Great location and very welcoming and hospitable staff. Not a party hostel though.

The hostel was the best one that I've stayed in so far. The view was fantastic and the warm welcome that I got from Rodney and Margaret was great. I really enjoyed my time there. I would recommend this hostel to everyone that I know.

one of the best hostels i have ever stayed at in a beautiful location and run by a lovely couple. near to wonderful seafood from a fisherman's co-op, great walking, a beach covered in semiprecious stones, etc etc. highly recommended.

We had to cancel our booking due to the location of the Hostel. The location was not clear when we booked, and we were looking for accommodation in or near Donegal Town.

The hostel is kept immaculately clean by Rodney's wife Margaret, who came out and offered to make me a cup of tea on my arrival. The town is simply gorgeous. The views, the beaches, the stones, (I love rocks, came home with a huge bagful) and the people of the area are all lovely. I particularly recommend Farren's, where I got to drink a pint with my name written in it! I LOVE Malin Head, and when I go back to Ireland, it will be directly there I will go, and directly to the Sandrock!close

The property was clean and well looked after. The location was isolated and rural - just what we wanted for our first night. The welcome was full of warmth and charm, and we could not have hoped for a better, more relaxing, comforting welcome to Ireland. 10 out of 10.

The place is not 'fun' - it was quiet, deserted, which is exactly what was needed to relax. There's a TV with DVDs, though you may not need it because the view from the bay windows beats TV any day. The staff [husband and wife] were excellent, providing a map with 3 plotted walks, and welcoming you with a pot of tea :D Really, this is THE BEST hostel I stayed in.close
