It is fun if all you want to do is party. I think Corfu is better. |

Returned after a few years to Ios, still the same relaxed madness and mayhem! Getting there is easier with the highspeeds and the accomodation is great without getting too expensive! |

A beautiful little island with gorgeous beaches and a good atmosphere. |

Awesome! Sun, sand, amazing clubs and bars (well, they're small, but a large variety of any kind of music you want), and heaps of great people. Lots of fun! It's a good island to relax on during the day, and party up at night! Don't expect to do much cultural sightseeing stuff - this island is all about having a good time. |

Ios is the place to party in hgh season, and relax on the beautiful beaches during the day. |

Ios is insane as there's a party every night and everyone stays up until the sun rises. During the day, everyone sleeps on the beach until it's time to shower and get ready to go out again. The beaches are beautiful and the locals are incredibly friendly. Eating out is not too expensive and I highly recommend Delicious for a good and cheap Gyros on the main square. |

Ios is an amazing place, you can't fly here, you can't take a train here, the way most people get here is an AWFUL overnight ferry ride from Athens. Once you are here you lay out on the beach and then at night the discos and bars come alive until the wee hours of the morning (some until daybreak and you feel like a vampire). Rinse and repeat for as many days as you can handle it. |

Ios is great if you're looking to party. The partying starts around 11pm and goes until 7am or so. Then you sleep in the day and relax at the beach and get ready for the next night! If you're not looking to party, I would suggest skipping this island as there isn't much else to offer. They have decent beaches, but so do other islands. Most of the island is inhabited by foreigners... even the stores and restaurants and bars employ travellers. It is impossible to find a good Greek meal here because it caters to "international cuisine". Save your money and buy take-away gyros instead. |

Excellent Beaches. Nice town. You can benefit from a vehicle to see the rest of the island. Manganari beach was the best. |

We came to Ios because of the crazy partying. In June, the nightlife really wasn't that crazy. The bars were smaller than I thought and most were empty. I may just have been a slow few days, but I wasn't impressed. Mylopotas beach was nice, but Manganari was my favorite. Rent an ATV or a scooter and explore the island. Ios is a cool island, but you could see most everything in a couple days. |

Ios is the Ibiza without the drugs. If you weren't dependent on alcohol already you will be by the time you have finished.
Absoutely Brilliant, But there is nothing to do there but drink and lay by the beach. |

The beach was amazing as well as the free amenities to all from Far Out Beach Club. If you are looking for the best place to party on the planet.... go to IOS! |

There is literally nothing else to do on this entire island except lay on the beach in the day and party at night. People left at about 10pm'ish to the town, and got back about 6am. There were seriously people drunk at 4pm... I got so ridicously bored on my second day. I started to hang out on the Village side- much nicer because they always restock the nicely kept bathrooms, and the music isn't as in-your-face. Everything in the market was expensive compared to other islands (Crete, Santorini)- especially English books that sold for 11-17 euros! 'Camping' was exactly worth the 6 euros I paid as I was eaten alive my first night by mosquitos, but learned to use a coil repellent and lotion repellent NIGHTLY. All of my things ended up smelling like the coil, so laundry was a definate must once I got back home. The food was expensive- and definately a portion for 2 people. Although good, not worth the money amount. |

Great place to have fun. Nice people from all over the world. |

Awesome island, easily one of the best. But whatever you do do not stay at Far Out as it is easily the worst hostel I have ever stayed at. |

it was a great location and nice room for the money. |

Ios is an island where the tourists are rather young. The main town Chora is nice but not very big. The beaches are wonderfull. |

We really liked Ios, it was def the best island we went to. Nice and peaceful during the day, with a gorgeous beach. No shoartage of places to eat and go out at night. Only negative was that there didn't seem to be many sights to visit...maybe that was just us not bothering to look too hard. |

Its a fun town but there's a lot of younger people like 16-18 there which was kind of annoying so you might just want to pass it by on your way to santorinni (don't hold me to the spelling) |

We had an awesome time! the best yet and we've been to 7 countries so far. we partied till early morning, got up at noon with the rest of town and had breakfast, caught the bus to the main beach and chilled out between the beach and the "far out" club across the road. 3 euro cocktails, swimming pools and bbq - you cant ask for more! we headed back to town for dinner and drinks at the hotel with other travellers and then went club hopping until early morning. we are planning to get back there next year for sure! |

We stayed away from the action, but between the island bus that ran every 15 minutes and taxis we found it very easy to get around. Definet party island! |

Yeah not so bad if you want to party with 16-19 year olds butfor the rest of us seasoned "partyers" its very immature and a little too over done. I've been twice now just to give a second chance and it was the same again. next time I'd go elsewhere. Cheap accomodation but drinks are VERY expensive. |

The only thing that they should introduce in the high season...all night bus service! |

Ios is an amazing island. We went during off season in late March so there were not many tourists. In the summer, however, it's a zoo of party animals. So this island has both partying and relaxing times depending on when you go. The beaches were very nice, and the people were very hospitable. |

Ios was perfect. We went in the off season but still had a blast. The beach was warm and beautiful and the main town is charming and picturesque. The food is fabulous, with every owner treating you like a guest in their own home. We received tons of free drinks and dessert. The nightlife is amazing. |
