The owner was amazing and super accomodating. They hotel had the most amazing view of the entire Island. I would love to return one day.

The owner was so nice and accommodating to my friends and I... he even invited us to his restaurant and had a drink with us! The hostel sits on a hill overlooking the entire island of Ios, it is beautiful. Doesn't even feel like a hostel, it's very nice. The best place ever! The staff is really friendly and helpful and they will pick you up at the ferry. The pool is very nice and you get a lot for your money.

Skala was the best accommodation we came across on the Islands. Reasonably priced and had everything we needed and more. I recommend this property to anyone traveling to Ios. The only problem we had was walking up the hill!!

Beautiful place to stay, the owner and his family are so frienly and go out of there way to help! the pools great and the rooms are very clean. The hotel is up a steep hill(only 5-10 walk), so the sunsets are amazing. Location is good, 10 mins walk from the city centre, where all the action takes...

Sweet place right outside the main party city of Ios...just call them when you arrive to Ios and they will pick u up for free. Most of the rooms have a kitchen and AC so that is very nice. Also you get a discount at a restaurant...the Mills...go there it is super good and not that expensive

This hostel was absolutely beautiful. Very nice rooms and a fantastic pool! Most of all though, the people there were the most welcoming and accommodating I've met on my travels. I highly recommend Skala!

Skala is a great hostel. Short walk to the city center, a beautifully kept pool with one of the nicest sunsets I've ever seen, and staff that do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable. Also, the owner's in-town restaurant 'the Mills' was the tastiest and best priced food we found in Ios.
