The George and Irene Hotel comprises of 12 spacious and sunlit units that offer comfortable and relaxed accommodation. All units have private bathroom, refrigerator, telephone, music and air conditioning as well as a veranda with amazing sea views. Baby cots are also available. The complex also has a restaurant, bar, cafeteria, television room and a roof garden. All Ios' main beaches are only a short walk away and if you want to be more adventurous you can hop on a boat and cruise around to the famous Manganri Beach. The hotel is renowned for its friendly atmosphere and many pre-party nights in the village start on the balcony of George & Irene's (they often finish there too in the small hours too!) Barbeques and Greek nights are a speciality and it is a great place to hang out. Whether you come alone or with friends you are guaranteed to leave having made many more.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! THEY TRIPLED THE PRICE OF THE ROOMS THREE MONTHS AFTER WE HAD BOOKED AND PAID A DEPOSIT WITH THEM, RESULTING IN US HAVING NO CHOICE AND NOWHERE TO STAY JUST BEFORE WE LEFT IN THE HIGH SEASON. DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR MONEY!!

This hostel is set in an excellent location within the village. However you need to catch a bus to get to the beach.

Hotel located on a very steep driveway; o.k. if you have a vehicle. The room was cleaned daily but had a bad odour. Bathroom could use upgrading. Can be noisy at night when partiers return.

We had reservations from oct. 27-Nov.1 and when we got to the hotel at 2 a.m. we found out the hotel was closed for the season. We felt like we had been stranded, luckily our taxi driver knew the people who owned the hotel across the street Lofos Hotel. We would have been in a mess.

This hotel was situated very close to the shops and the bus stop to the beach. Irene - the owner- was VERY friendly and helpful. For these cheap rooms, everything was very clean and neat! I'd love to stay there again!

FABULOUS the people were iincredibly friendly the food was cheap big and tasted amazing. Would reccommend it to anyone, they are very accepting
