The room is not very well maintained. Furnitures are quite old. One of the bed mattresses in my room is broken. The cleaners should easily find out that when they make the bed. But it is not replaced.

I dont recommend this hostel for persons who are travelling alone and hopping to meet another persons on the trip.. I stayed there at the weekend and had just a couple and one guy really nice fron Uruguay.. And dont forget to always arrive after 3 pm , because before this time do nt any person...

The surroundings were very noisy. I thought the hotel will be in a calm place. But this hotel is attached with bar below. Not Secured. Very old construction . Rooms are very old. But Staff are very good and co-operative

Even after booking well in advance, I could not get the proper room...location of room was poor...no view....no lift...so had to climb 3 floors with luggage...U can actually hear what a person in the next room is talking about....not worth at all...

Very relaxed hostel in Interlaken. No kitchen. Bar downstairs is good. Bathroom space is limited - only 1 toilet/shower for the floor.

Very friendly staff! Very good location. Would be fun to have one key for every roomer in a room. I really suggest this hostel, would stay there again, for sure!

Esta reformado pero sigue siendo un poco antiguo pero despertarte, quitar las cortinas y ver pasar el rio con los alpes de fondo... no tiene precio!! clumple con todo lo necesario, recomendable

The quality of the rooms in this hostel is appaling. The floors squak so if you have a room above you then you won't get any sleep at night. The bathrooms in the rooms with a private bathroom are tiny - the tiles in ours were falling off and rotting. Some maintenance was badly needed. There is a bar in the hostel that was open until 2.30am in the morning which could be heard from the rooms. The man at reception made an issue of us being gay and sharing a bed when we checked in.close

Was only for the night there to get ready for the jungfraumarathon. Haven't seen much of theLodge, but was i have seen was good. Looks for me like a nice place to stay. Think i'm going to stay there again when i'm next in interlaken...

Nice and clean hostel. Don't forget to leave some time staying at the bar, wonderful place to make some new friends. All staffs are so helpful. Not far from Interlaken West station (5 mins walk), a map is preferred. Private bathroom is strongly recommended!

This hostel is just perfect. Jason is so friendly and helpful, he'll always make sure you've got the right things booked for the adventure sports and ring up companies for you. The man with the long hair is also really lovely, he gives everyone free snacks.

Great location and price. lockers were available but not in the room. bathroom shared by many people made it difficult to get a shower in at certain times, but the hostel was overall good and interlaken was the best place ever>!

our floor, which had the toilet and shower in which meant there were queues in mornings, sinks in rooms though. Good hostel though, bar downstairs quite cheap and good atmosphere.

This hostel is average. It don't have elevator. So we have to climb the steps,carrying the heavy bag. Also,It didn;t offer guest kitchen service. Only it offer hot water,microwave. It is not near the station.

The owners seem to be brothers and they are really entertaining. They are just very high energy people. There were no lockers and the rooms were small. But the location was great.

First go to the west station not the east. Second the place when we arrived was disgusting the shared bathroom had an old pad sitting on the counter and the floor was flooded. At Alp Lodge, we booked a room for four people with private bathroom. But when we went there, we only got a room for four without bath. They said its a mistake by hostel world and its not their fault. This was not nice!

It's 5-minute walk from west station. there are bar and dart games at ground level. Big TVs for euro2008 games. My only complain is people smoke too much at the bar. Even at 3rd floor my room felt like soaked in the smoke. But I guess it's a general comment to Swiss itself.
