If I come again, I´ll definately stay here again - its the BEST VALUE for money in Switzerland! Cheapest and best quality & service!close

I have booked a double bed room, the room is huge and very well. The owner is really nice person. We have taken breakfast in the hostel in 7 CHF, and the quantity of the breakfast is really unbelievable in that price.

Staying at Walters was a higlight of our 5 week trip in Europe. Walter was the most obliging host, helpful and very kind. Our room was very comfortable and we looked forward to our BIG breakfast every morning. We also had his fondue and were so glad that we did. Mrs Walter is amazing, he is very nice and helpfull, his founde is the most cheaper in the city. Is the best place to stay in Interlaken

Walters is an excellent place for a perfect B & B experience. The kitchen is well equiped and the shower is shared between 3 to 4 groups on an average which is cool enough. The only drawback is that it is a bit far from the train station and the main shopping/tourist areas of Interlaken. But still walking across the scenic Interlaken is never a pain, so try Walters its worth a stay and Walter himself is quiet a nice & helpful guy.close

I booked this B&B through a website expecting a pleasant stay in switzerland. But my experience was horrible. Shared bathroom and kitchen made my life miserable. As I was a tourist, I used to get up early in the morning , take a bath and prepare my breakfast before leaving the room. As I was a tourist, I used to get up early in the morning , take a bath and prepare my breakfast before leaving the room. This annoyed him (although he never asked us not to do so)and he started making abusive comments. On the third day he made some racist comment about Indiands and Pakistani when I left the B&B. I would strongly reccommend to avoid this B&B .close

Walters is a great value for the money. Walter is a helpful old man that provides good accommodation's, cheap beer and a kitchen. I would stay there again.

This is a great option if you want a cheap double room within 10 minutes walk of the city centre. Our double room was massive and it also had a small balcony. The kitchen is also fully equipped for those wanting to cook.

The best hostel I have ever stayed in the trip. The staff is a very nice man, and the room is very tidy and beautiful. It is not far from the Interlaken Ost, just 10 minutes walk.

On top of the great rooms, the views are amazing in interlaken. Would recommend this to anyone traveling on a budget, amazing value.close

Great B&B to stay! I would highly recommend Walters if you are desiring a relaxing, clean place to stay. Also the location is excellent. Close to the train station, Balmers, great places to eat. I would definitely stay there again. Thanks Walter!

Excellent hostel for a traveller on a budget. Walter is an excellent host - very freindly and welcoming. Breakfast was very good value - it's huge and enough food for the whole day. We were a group of six and had a whole floor to ourselves with bathroom and kitchen. Will definitely be back.

The hotel owner was very friendly. It was a very good hostel and a very neat and pleasent place and easy access to the station. Please do mention that they collect only cash, as we had to take it from the ATM and missed our train.

It is like staying at Grampa's house. Walter speaks good english and is very helpful. 5min walk from the Ostbahnhof train station. Breakfest is cheap, plentiful ,served in your room and gives you enough to pack a lunch.

First image of this hotel is a bit terrible. Walter is a strange but funny old man. He is kind. The facilities are find. just a bit dark in the bathroom. Kitchen provides enough facilities if you wanna cook. A bit far from train station but can take local bus to nearly bus stop.

The view is phenomenal and the house itself is really nice and clean. Walter is great! I have to say, pay the extra money for the breakfast because it is the best breakfast I had in Europe, hands down. He assembles a great spread of meats, cheeses, bread, jelly, eggs, coffee, and juice and we even were able to wrap some up and eat it for lunch, too. It's amazing!close

I stayed there three nights and I like to stay here.Mr. Walter is very friendly and nice, the kitchen is absolutely clean and there are many dishware to use. There is also a traditional cheese fondue offer with attractive price made by Mr. Walter. It is very delicious!! About a 7 min walk from Interlaken Ost station which was handy,the room was huge and at a reasonable price.Walter was a great host and as mentioned by other reviewers the breakfast is awesome,definately will sort you for lunch as well.One of the best places weve stayed on our trip

Walter was amazing, the best part was the breakfast he made. It's definitely worth the money, he gives you enough for lunch! He even did our laundry for a reasonable price. The room was HUGE!
