Buried deep in the Swiss Alps, and nestled neatly in between two lakes, Interlaken is a tale of two cities. First there's Interlaken in the winter, quieter than the summer months but one of the best places in Europe to engage in adrenalin-pumping outdoor winter sports. Then there's Interlaken in the summer, a livelier city with even more outdoor sports and some great hiking. If you're not the outdoorsy type, don't fret. Thanks to the surrounding mountains and lakes, it's worth visiting for the scenery alone.
“ The people there were so welcoming and friendly. Party scene was a blast. Everyone in the extreme activities knew what they were doing and made it lots of fun. I would recommend to anyone and everyone.
“ Let me start of by saying that we had the most fantastic trip in a very pretty place, that was warm and comfortable and would love to go back there sometime. Deniz the hostess was extremely helpful and nice and she became quite good friends with the girls by the end of this visit.

more Positives:
Ours was an absolutely fantastic trip. It had the prettiest sights to wake up to. Deniz, the manager, was extremely helpful. She gave us a ride into town a couple of times. She suggested things for us to do in the area and even took us to the local shops, waited while we rented our gear and dropped us off at the station. She helped us out with food etc. when we had run out and also entertained us with funny stories from her experiences.
The room itself was very warm and comfortable. We had the 4 bed dorm to ourselves and we could just lock the room and go but I don\'t think it would have been a problem otherwise either. The place is very safe. The wireless internet works pretty well, even from the rooms but is best in the breakfast area.
The rooms were very clean and the sheets washed and well kept. The bathrooms were always clean as well.
The somewhat negative:
Iseltwald is an extremely pretty village but it takes a 30 minute very scenic bus ride from Iclose
“ Interlaken is a gorgeous city in the foothills of the Swiss Alps. While its a smallish town and quiet enough, its so picturesque and the air is so clean and the scenery is so breathtaking that you really feel that you are going through a detox walking around. Interlaken is the outdoor and…
