It's hosted the winter olympics twice so there are some items laying around to go gaugh over. But the awesome thing is the mountains all around you. I was in the off season for winter sports, and I still had a wonderful time. A hikers dream, and a great potential for the mountain biking enthusiasts. Romance can be found with the help of the Inns and Cottages along the valley outlying the city. It's the best of both worlds honestly. My wife had the shopping in Innsbruck, while I had the woods and mountains to run around on, all while staying in an AFFORDABLE 4 star hotel with a spa and jacuzzi and resturaunt in it. Amazing getaway, and very affordable. I want to go back someday, possibly live there.close

City-Hotel Goldene Krone 82%

Campsite Innsbruck Kranebitten 74%
Awesome views as you left the caravan. Staying on the side of a snowcapped mountain was fantastic. Handy busroute into town.

Youth Hostel Innsbruck 64%
A decent enough place to stay, but I wouldn't recommend it for 1 night stay as it is too far from everything (plus it is at the arse-end of town). Also, 5pm check-in is too late as there was no one to ask for help in getting back into town - walking takes almost an hour.

Maybe if you guys incorporated some fun into your hostel you'd do better.. there is so much to do in Innsbruck, you'd have no trouble organising a...
