This is a beautiful car free island with some fantastic beaches which are accessable by boat or hiking. We stayed in August (out of season) temp was around 30 during the day but got chilly in the evenings. Make sure you visit Lopez Mendes beach ! |

we missed out on the good weather but i think it would have been lovelly with some sun. no bloody book shops though. please open one for my next visit. |

A great place to chill out, get your mind out of the stress. No cars!!! Excelent for trecking, very good for diving and nice for surfing. |

I really enjoyed my stay in Ihla Grande. The village isn't big but the atmosphere day or night is great. The Pousada is a little far from the village but because of that it was quiet and beautiful. On the other hand you have to walk for 15 minutos or so if you want to buy something -like souveniers- or going to the club to dance or have a caipirinha. |

gorgeous place, beaches are stunning. The weather in Novemebr is far too tempermental - rain one day, overcast the next, then 30 degrees!!! Worth going to though, whatever the weather! |
