Despite having super tiny rooms, this hostel was very comfortable and clean (including squeaky clean bathrooms). I felt very secure and the owners spoke fantastic english. It was also only a 3 minute walk from the subway.

BE CAREFUL!! I booked a one bedroom with private ensuite about 3 weeks prior to arriving in Hong Kong. When I got to Comfort Lodge I had to pay the rest of cost by credit card and also a HK$100 cash deposit for the key (a surprise..). However when I was shown to my room it was tiny- basically only big enough for a single bed and a bedside drawer. Also there was no ensuite. She told me a small communal toilet (which had the showerhead over it!!) was just next door. I reminded the woman that I paid for an ensuite, but she told me that the room had been given out to someone who wanted to extend their stay and that there were no more rooms! I checked out another room - it had the private en suite and was empty but it was filthy- the beds weren't made up and it wasn't cleaned yet. She said that I could have that room but it would take a while before the cleaner got in. I reminded her again about how unfair it was that I paid extra but got a standard room. She rang her boss and he told her to check the booking. I showed her the Hostelworld.com confirmation print out confirming my booking. She said that it was still cheaper than normal rates and as this was done through an agency (hostelworld.com) the special rates didn't really apply!! Her lack of comprehension, help, and my exhaustion forced me to settle for this cramped single room. I was glad to get out. I was ripped off and advise people to be careful about selecting Comfort Lodge in the future. I will never go back there.close

Friendly people. Conveniently located next to Jordan MTR. Bit small room. Convenient broadband internet connection in the room

Although the staff are pleasant, the owner turned out to be a complete crook. No need to go into the details but the owner tried to take advantage of the fact that I was a foreigner and didn't understand the booking system. Had it not been for my son, a HK resident, he would have overcharged me by at least 50%. When we caught him in his deceit he proceeded to become very angry and even, if you can believe, switched the room I was staying in to one of a lower quality. Had it not been for the fact that this was the Rugby 7s weekend I would have certainly left and stayed somewhere else; however I was without options and had to take it. It goes without saying then, that I wouldn't wish this hotel on my worst enemy.close

re their laundry and internet "services"; i wish they would make a decision - either make it a money making venture or offer these as true services to your guests. at HK$0.50 per minute, their internet is prohibitively expensive, and consequently won't make them any money - so why... more re their laundry and internet "services"; i wish they would make a decision - either make it a money making venture or offer these as true services to your guests. at HK$0.50 per minute, their internet is prohibitively expensive, and consequently won't make them any money - so why offer it? to access their laundry facilities, they want HK$40 per load for the privilige of DOING YOUR WASHING YOURSELF! just down the road we found a dry cleaners (Sunshine) who washed, dried and folded 2 loads of washing for a total of HK$34 and it was ready for us to collect in 3 hours. the double room was very small and the double bed even smaller. but the room was spotlessly clean and the location very convenient to the MTR.close

If your only planning just to sleep at your hotel room and go out the rest of the time, this hotel is perfect. It located very close to the Jordan Subway Stop.

I would stay here again, it may be a little small, but if sight seeing is what you are interested in, then there is no better place to stay for the price.
