Room is better than what we expected, larger and newer..as i read a lot of blogs about HK hostel, most of them saying that rooms are rather small. here they got everything you need. Absolutely value for money and will stay for my second trip to HK.

Could not get more with such cheap price in other place. They met all our expectations, they do not have hotel-liked personal service, located in old building but i guess what you get is more than what you paid for.

But I was fortunate having enough prove that the price I booked (via their official website) come with the window which price as the deluxe double-room by the print out on the email exchanged. She (Lisa) denied me the window room vehemently at first but reluctantly acceded to my demand after seeing the notes of evidence. The 10% charging fees was billed in US dollars when making the booking online but must pay in HK$ dollar on arrival in full sum. They make conversion from the remaining US$ owed for room booked to HK$ for you to pay them. The hotel determine the exchange rate and not by following the market rate. I was conned into being charged the exchange rate of HK$8.5 to US$1,instead of the normal rate of between HK$7.5 to HK$7.68. This was only found out after paying in full. I am fully disgusted by their dishonesty and forewarn those who book with them directly to be cautious and clear with what your room is and the correct price to pay, otherwise you will be another victim of this con scheme. They won't refund you the vast difference even after I found that out but still have the cheek to give ridiculous reasons to back their charges.close

Building look scary, what matters most is the room itself. Clean, new and adequate enough for our family. I'm glad to have my stay extended at the same price as i booked online. i'd stay here again and recommend to my friends.

It's a good option for one night but it's a bit of a chaos. The dorm is ok but the staff is walking in and out all the time. The double rooms are very small but are ok. The elevators will demand a lot of time from you....

Nice welcome from staff, The building that the hostel is located in is a residential building so don't be shocked on arrival, Its how they live due to space issues. Our room was clean and was attended to each day by staff with fresh towels. Good way to stay if your trying to save a few dollars.

The hostel is not as bad as some describe. Rooms are clean and comfortable, staff are friendly and accommodating, food is near and easy to find at all hours. Look at the place from the right perspective and you'll be all right. It's good value for money considering you're in HK.
