I had heard horror stories about places with bed bugs, being disturbed in the middle of the night by the staff, and a general feeling of insecurity in many hostels in the city, and this place had none of that. For Hong Kong, this place was good. 2 minutes walk from a subway, and a 'slightly' quieter area than further south on Nathan Road. Owned/run by a friendly couple in their 50s. Some Hong Kong hostels have a bad reputation for trying to rip travellers off, but I don't think this place is like that.

King Wah was fine, no window so makes the room little like a dungen, but we moved after two nights to somewhere closer to town, cheaper, cleaner and only a little bit more dodge...

I enjoyed my stay, although there is no lounge area, there is so much to explore that I didn't miss it. I would definately return to this hostel. Good value for money. Be warned that rooms are tiny but condsidering the space issue in Hong Kong, quite good!

The rooms were very small but it didn't matter too much because of the great location!!! We were not sure whether thwe water provided was boiled (the lid seal had been undone) so we bought water. I'd stay there again.

We booked a 5 bed private room, but the room is so small that it's only enough for 3 people, therefore we had to find another hotel and they refused to give my money back!! (They asked us to pay the room before we knew that we're cheated by the information on the website)
