rooms are tiny..but ,maybe thats just HK... but its clean! so im quite happy..and u can get wireless in your room. a plus point

We were amazed at the tiny location for the Budjet Hostel with only 5 rooms or so, on the internet it sounds like a larger size. The room is very clean and comfortable. The size is small but reasonable compared to other Hong Kong hostel. You have enough space to place your luggage. The owner is helpful on going around HK. It is just a block away to Mongkok MTR station. It is near to food, famous Women's market, branded... more The room is very clean and comfortable. Really nice hostel right in the middle of Hong Kong. Fantastic! The rooms are small and without a window, but there is enough space to put your bags etc. and the rooms provide facilities such as TV, towel and air conditioning. Everything is incredible clean. Very good because the drive water all boiled & guess can just take only. No need to buy water outside, & better that hotel.No Security over 12.00am, but very safe.

My favourite place in HK. A standard HK room like you get anywhere, but vastly improved with 100% wifi signal 24/7, free towel and toilet paper. The guy who runs it, Jackie, is helpful and easy to get on with. TV works fine, as does the welcome air-con, and the whole place is kept clean. And... more My favourite place in HK. It was a great bed for a night in a great location in HK at a cheep cheep price, so I had a great stay. That being said, the toilet had some slight problems, but that's not their fault! :)

The building itself was not very clean but once you're inside the Hongkong Budget Hostel it's extremely clean. One of the cleanest I've seen. Jacky Chan, the owner was extremely helpful as well. Its really a good cheap place to stay.

Jacky was so helpful .. smack bang in Mong Kok for food and market access. 10 seconds to the MTR to get to Hong Kong island. Very reasonable rates for HK .... pretty darn good overall!

I had a great stay here. Jacky was very friendly and helpful. The Hostel is well located, walking distance (30 min) to Victoria Harbour and most of the Kowloon attractions but the MTR and buses are right outside if you don't fancy walking! The hostel is in a very central location - near Mongkok Station. The room was barely big enough to turn around in, and I'm still in shock about the extremely tight space in the bathroom/shower/toilet. Very little character, and though the place was fairly clean, I wouldn't stay there again.

dont let the small rooms put you off! cleaned everyday, this place was brilliant for exploring hong kong, subway 2 mins walk away, would definatley stay again

It's less than 100m from the MTR (underground station); and also close to the Airport bus stop. It's right opposite the famous Ladies Market. Jackie is great, so is his cute chihuahua, Bo Bo. We had a twin room which was small but perfectly adequate. don't expect anything too flash and you will have a very enjoyable stay. Will definitely stay there again! And do try the food from the stall on the corner, and also the bakery just down the road.close

Jacky is the man. Extremely helpful. Mongkok is a wonderful and vibrant area, a great place to walk around and gain an authentic chinese experience.

It was a wonderful stay. Mr. Chan was so accommodating and is always there to help us in terms of direction and other stuff plus they provide toiletries and change the beddings everyday.

You get what you pay for but if all you need is a safe place to crash then it's the one for you. Nice and close to Mong Kok MTR so really easy to get round

What you get though is a very very clean place (They clean the shower and toilet several times a day) with free wifi and a friendly host who is always freindly and ready to answer questions. The best part is the location, right in the middle of Mong Kok you'll find the true HK with crawly streets, Neon signs and millions of different local stlye restaurants.close

Worth what you paid for. My family like the place. Clean, Convenient and Homie. Jackie was friendly and very helpful, you can ask any help from him and he'll do it immediately. Will definitely come back and even recommend to others.
