Don't belief, that you will get a room in the that hostel, because in that house are more hostels owned by the same person and the other are not so "good looking"

I booked the room in advance, but when I got there, the room is gone. We had to pay extra to stay in another room. The place is not safe at all. I won't recommend the place at all.

The Place are really Clean and Staff are friendly.Due to my flight delay,I have called them for the delay of Check-In after mid-night.And when I arrived at 1:15A.M,they are still waiting for me.I really appreciate their kindness.Even when I check-out,the staff send me to Bus Stop and help... more The Place are really Clean and Staff are friendly.Due to my flight delay,I have called them for the delay of Check-In after mid-night.And when I arrived at 1:15A.M,they are still waiting for me.I really appreciate their kindness.Even when I check-out,the staff send me to Bus Stop and help carrying Luggage.This hostel is good enough but the building itself is old and ground floor seems scary,however,this is the center of the City.close

Had thought I had booked with Carlton Guest House, but ended up somewhere else in the building. Noisy Arrcon made sleeping difficult and it was a tiny box room. Not what I had expected for five days stay, although it was apparently newer than some of the alternative rooms in the building.

Despite a confirmed booking, they didn't put me there but rather subcontracted it to another guesthouse in the building. The other guesthouse had small rooms and nothing going for it other than a really good location. When I went to checkout at 7:30am, nobody was there to receive me. i booked this place because it was on the 16th floor, and was looking forward to a view, even if only a bad one... but when i checked in they put me on the 6th floor (not even the same hostel i think!) without a view, or even a window. it wouldnt have been a problem, if they were just honest...

Overall can be the best and nice place I have ever been.I booked for 6 Nights and I enjoy it much in this place.The Staff are wonderful and try to help to solve your difficulties.Thanks a lot/Keep up.

The staff was sleeping when we wanted to check out at 9AM... There were no consideration for the customer! There is no security feeling in this hotel.... No breakfast! I would never go back there. the staff is very suspicious...

If you need to stay somewhere for the least amount of money possible, maybe consider this place. Otherwise avoid it at all costs. Out of my frank personal feeling,this hostel is very clean and have reasonable room price.The first Night I stay in OTHER HOSTEL which is expensive and the rooms are terrible!!!And here everything is new and staff are kind too.

The location is perfect! Just few steps from the MTR and the Star Ferry. Altough the building a very old and surrounded by a lot of African poeple and other emigrants, the rooms are very clean and the Ghana Guy's who run the place are really nice and helpful!!!

If you book for this hostel, there is a change that the staff put you in one of the other hostels/guesthouses that they have. The building is old and poor. It is better to stay somewhere else. Not in this building!

The staff is extremely rude, and most of the time not avaible. If you try to check out before noon when they wake up good luck. Some guy also got into my room using his room key.

I really enjoy my stay in this hotel and is a very nice and neat place, but they should try and upgrade their wireless internet connection in order to meet the demand of their customers

It's the luxury and safe place for backpackers,the place is clean and no matter how guest or staff are very kind and nice.The room is not too big but with internet is okay.

I have a long trip from Canada and is tired when I arrived to HK,the hostel manager voluntary to pick me up from the Air-port Shuttle Bus Stop.Appreciate.The hostel is nice too.
