My wife and I often stay at Rent-A-Room during our trips to HK. Quiet, clean and very conveniently located (next to Jordan MTR). Good value

Some of the rooms are VERY small. We booked a two bed room and first were shown a shoe box. We asked for a two bed room and after much chat between staff was given a nice sized room with one single and one double. The bathroom was tiny - shower right above the toilet. Pretty hard beds. Convenient...

Perfect for backpakers who love sight-seeing, but not for shoppers with suitcases (as you have to climb up many stairs before you reach the building). Staff are great and helpful.

I would definitely stay here again; it was not 5-star but it was the quality of a good hotel chain - say Novotel or Travelodge - at a backpacker price. After ChungKing Mansions this place is a palace!

Once I reached the accommodation I was given a room with a double bed & ensuite bathroom, but there was no room for the two people & our luggage. Having spoken to the lady, she advised that we had a single room with a doulde bed and if we wanted a double room we would have to pay the extra $300 HKD per night. Whats this all about (anyone heard of trades description!!!) Im still awaiting a reply from Hostel world, so hopefully they can explain why I'm feeling a little cheated.close

Great location right next to Jordan MTR station, and a few minutes walk to the Temple Street night market. Clean, safe too. Staff are useful, though a bit reserved.

Was a very nice stay although not quite the same as normal due to the fact that I was the only one staying in the 6 bed dorm. Nice but so fun!!
