The place was Ok but it could be cleaner... there are lots of cheaper options that are easier to find once you get here that are much newer and cleaner. internet was fress, but also free at many other places so dont choose it for that reason alone.

Very central and next to all the travel agents and a short ride to all attractions. main market about 15 mins walk away. There is no lift and it's a basic mini hotel tucked in a narrow alley but staff was friendly and I felt safe there.

I booked an aircon room and didn't get one when I arrived. Also, I booked a tour with them about three days before I arrived and they told me I wasn't on it when the day came. Very unorganized staff.

My first morning here, I woke up to small bugs crawling all over my room and my stuff. The staff came up and sprayed, but there have still been bugs crawling around the room every day.

Was a great budget place to stay, free breakfast was amazing - although understanding the accented English was a bit hard, the staff were all really nice. They have a money exchange at the front and offer a variety of tours as well. Would stay here again.

Had a good time here so far. Pretty affordable, and clean (although someone complained about fleas in a bed I have had no problems). Location in an alleyway is a bit hard to find but also keeps the Pham Ngu Lao noise down. Staff don't speak a ton of English but are always ready to help....

Lovely clean guesthouse, really well located and the free breakfast and free internet that went faster than a snail was a great bonus! The tours offered by the guesthouse were ok, if you have the time do it yourself and you can avoid the constant sales pitch.

The location is good. Even though it is close to Sinh cafe, it is not noisy because it is not in front of the busiest street. One thing that I felt so angry was that the stuff tried to cheat me. The staff did not gave me the correct amount of the change. After I insisted on it, she got angry and...

Tucked up a narrow residential alleyway, so don't expect too much light / fresh air, although it is very handy for everything in the tourists' quarter. Most of the neighbours seem to have small dogs which 'yap' at all hours of the day / evening.

A little bit hard to find this place. I think they should have a sign pointing in to the alley where it is located. Otherwise it is good, with many sights just around the blocks.

I got into a fight with him before he would put it away. Why he was being so uncooperative- who knows. But this is a serious document and he was being so casuala bit leaving it out in the their business lobby. Second they were exchanging money at the lower exhange rate and charging my account at the higher rate! I didn't notice all this until I checked out. Shame on me for letting this happen, so I can only blame myself. Then were all these added 'fees' on my bill which they were not clear or up-front about. I was really disappointed because otherwise HCM city was a blast!close

The rooms in this hotel has no window, which makes it very unpleasant to hang out in. The hotel has no bar and that makes it not so nice to come home to. It is ok and it is in the backpacker area, but I would choose another hotel next time.

Bad experience liasing with the guesthouse staff. Room booking was not properly followed up resulting not enough room on the date of arrival. Lack of communication between staff causing waste of time for billing clarification between the guesthouse owner and staff on duty.
