Located at a alley off Pham Gau Lao so close to everything but quiet enough to sleep. Lots of stairs to climb - up to 6th floor. No windows but OK with air-con. This place would have been fine if the room we got given wasn't 6 flights of stairs up, stank of cigarettes, had a fan that creaked so loudly that it disturbed our sleep and ceilings that werén't so low that my 5ft 8 friend could not stand up without having to constantly crouch down with her...

Rooms are tidy, clean &well kept. Drinks/tours etc are cheap(same price as shops),unlike other hostels where they seem to charge extra! Rooms may be cheaper on arrival but you dont get any extras like free breakfast &wireless etc that you DO get if you book with hosteworld-swings... more Rooms are tidy, clean &well kept. We loved this place so much we booked a further 3 extra nights. The staff were extremely helpful and I would definately recommend. We stayed in 2 different rooms as we went on a 2 day trip and both were more than satisfactory

We really enjoyed our stay at My My and it's perfectly placed just behind the hustle of Pham Ngu Lao. Don't believe the person on here who wrote about prices being cheaper if you just turn up - most of the hotels in this part of HCMC will separate out costs for breakfast, air con etc, so you... more We really enjoyed our stay at My My and it's perfectly placed just behind the hustle of Pham Ngu Lao. Don't believe the person on here who wrote about prices being cheaper if you just turn up - most of the hotels in this part of HCMC will separate out costs for breakfast, air con etc, so you could choose a place without. If, however, you book through Hostelworld you get both thrown in at the very reasonable rate advertised, as well as free wifi. The trip they book to the Cu Chi tunnels isclose

The rate that is advertised on Hotel World is twice that that people who arrive off the street pay. We moved out after one night as we discovered that other guests paid $9 agianst our rate of $18. The fast talking manager would not negoiate so we left. Location is great. Some top eateries dowm these back alleys. The best and fullest baguettes at top of lane leading to hotel. Owmer amd her mum great characters.

The lady who owns the hotel is great, she is very persistant with making you book things through her and with most of the trips its not a bad idea. Well the owner of the hotel acts like a car sails "woman" (But she is nice though) and I noticed that she changes the prices acording to how much she can get from the costumers. The dollar exchange rate is addapted to whats good for her!

Handy location if you are taking the bus from Phnom Penh (2mins walk from where you are dropped off) set back from the main road which helps blocks some of the traffic noise. get a room on 3th floor, the other ones are very noisy in the morning when the house awakes. the rooms are small but ok. the cheapest minibar ever! the family is very very friendly and inform you about everything!

i didn't stay here because i was traveling with my older father and there were too many stairs to go in the rooms. But it was very clean, you leave your shoes at the entrance (good sign) I have received a email from the owner that they've got 2 types of rooms(small for 16$ and big for 22$).... more i didn't stay here because i was traveling with my older father and there were too many stairs to go in the rooms. Don't go to this hostel!!! we book 3 for nights and when we arrived there the owner told us that they were full!!! And then they didn't want to gave us the money of the deposit! We started to ask why! and finally they gave us the money but not the deposit we paid to hostelworld. So, take care...

This is by far the best hostel I have stayed at in Saigon, the hosts are all so polite and willing and able to help with any questions or bookings you might want to make, hostel is in a great location and easy to find when you come back from drinking one to many tigers. I would stay again for sure.

My My Arthouse is a great place to stay in Saigon. We went from Hong Kong to Saigon and was easily picked up from the airport by the staff and braught safe to the lovely hostel. We went from Hong Kong to Saigon and was easily picked up from the airport by the staff and braught safe to the lovely hostel. The Hostel is located in the very city center, with several of bars, shops, parks etc.,but at the same time located queitly. The host of the Hostel, Hahn, is also a very good cook!, and even though that there is no menucard, she coocked a great and CHEAP meal for us nearly every day. / we just asked her. The Hostel is a mixture between elders and youngers, and for us, two young blokes (20 & 21), this is absolutely the best hostel so far in our 6 month of traveling. Jens & Jeppe DKclose
