The facilities promised were not at the hotel. They were at an affiliated hotel 1 km away. This was very disappointing and deceiving. I was also charged more than the $51 advertised (it came to over 65 with additional taxes). It will be excellent if the breakfast can be of different type for different day. This will not bore the hostel guests with the same breakfast everyday. As majority of the hostel guests are tourist, providing a colour HCMC map will be wonderful and appreciative by the guests. If each rooms provide with thermal flask for hot water, it will be extremely ideal.close

I was very disappointed that the rate offered on Hostelworld wasn't the rate we had to pay on arrival. This hotel adds a 10% tax and then a 5% service tax. For 2 nights we paid an additional $10 then what we thought after making the booking. Under further investigation it does say on this page... more I was very disappointed that the rate offered on Hostelworld wasn't the rate we had to pay on arrival. This hotel adds a 10% tax and then a 5% service tax. For 2 nights we paid an additional $10 then what we thought after making the booking. Under further investigation it does say on this page tax not included and the staff did bring the issue up on arrival so there wasn't any confusion on check out. If I had known all this before I would not have made the booking and stayed elsewhere as it went over my daily budget. Asside from this if you don't mind paying the money the location is good and is very clean.close

Too expensive in comparison with all the other hotels. Excellent breakfast/brunch menue included. Tourist office next door- verz good! No internet access.

The liberty 3 hotel was fantastic. In a city where people do not have a lot and hotels are usually run down dives, the liberty 3 stood out big time. The staff were very helpful and always happy to see you. You had a nice room and breakfast too. For my merge from living in England to staying... more The liberty 3 hotel was fantastic. In a city where people do not have a lot and hotels are usually run down dives, the liberty 3 stood out big time. The staff were very helpful and always happy to see you. You had a nice room and breakfast too. For my merge from living in England to staying in Saigon it was fantastic as it was home from home.
