Too far away from the city... half an hour to get from downtown. It is in a city called Espoo (beach). Food from the restaurant is not good at all... do not reccomend eating there at lunch Very clean rooms and beautiful surroundings at the beach.

And I think this hotel is suitable for those who wanna enjoy the natural side of Helsinki, and actually the hotel is situated in Espoo. The diretion from the hostelworld to the hotel is clear, but I think travellers should carry less luggages as possible. Coz after boarding off the bus 132, there is still around 400 metres walk up to the hotel. Plus, there is a small lake nearby the hotel, explore it!close

This hotel is quite far out of the city but easy to catch a bus in and out of town, the impression was that Helsinki is quite spread out anyway. Breakfast was fantastic.

A great, great hotel with an superb breakfast spread in the morning (included!). Although a bit far from the city center, the staff couldn't have been nicer and the hotel was super clean. Highly recommended.

Very nice hotel in such a beautiful place near to the sea. It's quite far from downtown, although there are bus stops about 400m of distance. The problem is that most of things close around 10pm in Espoo, so it's hard to find a place to eat.

BREAKFAST WAS A SPREAD. can't say enough about how good breakfast was.. they had yogurt, milk, cereal, muesli, bacon, eggs, sausages, coffee, tea, yogurt drinks, salami, ham, croissant etc.. fantastic.. would stay there again when i visit helsinki.. worth the journey out of the city!!close

Location is very good - the nature is really impressive. The staff was nice and helpful. We liked breakfast very much. One problem - we had no soap loaded in the bathroom, and there are no good restaurants near the hotel.

A little bit hard to find - if you are moving from east to west by 51 Road - you should pass first exit to Keha II (102) and turn right on second exit - other way you will go wrong direction.

Location: nice because near the sea, but far from the center of helsinki and buses are really expensive! 3,60 euros for one way (15mn). The website of hostelworld is not clear: Breakfast is included for dormitory but Bed linens are not.

hostel located 15 mins out side of helsinki (3.60 euro bus fare). Free breakfast was excellent with lots of variety (very hotelish). Kitchen facilities poor, just a microwave and fridge, and nowhere to safely keep bags. staff were friendly and there was free internet.

Once you get there is a very tranquil and pacific place, ideal for go trekking or swimming. The dorms are big and you pay 5 euro for each set of sheets. Breakfast is very good and it is included. Considering that Helsinki is a very expensive city and you can eat as much as you want, you are getting a good value for your money. When I went it was almost empty, but the staff is helpful and nice. There is also a sauna when you can have a unique relaxation... ah! I recommend it unless you want to have fun and be close to downtown. So, it is a place for relaxation and meditation.close

Very good breakfast and very close to the sea. Close to Iso Omena shopping mall and bus 132 to HLX. Prices of the rooms are very good for the Helsinki area. Basic but clean building.

It´s "fun" rating would have been nil, except it is surrounded by forests and near a large body of water. There are great trails nearby. The directions are horrendous, I recommend emailing them for more specific directions from the airport, train, etc. Buy the regional tourist pass, not the helsinki one, because the place is 15 minutes outside of Helsinki. The breakfast is free, huge, and exquisite, the wood sauna which is free smells like heaven, and the staff treats you like a real hotel guest. It´s recommendable, but not perfect.close

This was identified as a budget hotel. However because of the Athletic games it was anything but inexpensive. It was double the price with nothing extra. I believe they took advantage of the Games to overcharge.
