A view of the old town from the castle or the hill on the otherside is breathtaking. The people (except officers of all sort) are nice and active. Many people jocking on the street, bicycle riders were not as aggressive as in other some cities. University is in the middle of the city or the crowd is quite well-mixed between locals and tourists. The castle on the hill behind the old town has a great view and I also found the apotheke museum inside the castle very fastinating. There are tons of good restaurants and bars in the old town. And the ones we've tried so far didn't let us down. The building are nice and well taken care of. It is one of the cities in Germany, which gave me the feeling that I'm really in Europe.close

Hotel Schnookeloch 93%
Best hotel ever. Some of the staff was really nice and the hotel is sooooooo beautiful and it is in a great location. A little expensive though, but great.

Hotel Kranich Heidelberg 71%
Great location - a little out of the city but perfect if driving and not too far to walk to the tram. Great little bistro and bakery next door. Free wifi. Very friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again.

Buen hotel, lindo, limpio. Todo por escalera. Es difícil de encontrar porque está en un barrio, no está cerca del centro si no están en auto no conviene. Good hotel, nice, clean, only stairs. It's hard to find because it's not near the center of the city.
