We took our three children, and truly felt at home. I had requested connecting rooms but was told no rooms connected directly. I was a bit concerned before we left that our kids would be too far away from us. In the end it was a perfect set-up. In summary this is a perfect hotel in Hanoi.

Perfect hotel in Hanoi. The hotel is in a very good location, right in the center of the Old Quarter. The room was clean for a 3star hotel, and bed was comfortable, I like super firm bed. All staffs were very friendly. It's okay for a $30 per night in Hanoi.

When we made side trips to Sapa and Halong bay, they cheerfully lugged our luggage in & out of our rooms to the storage area. They also helped with reservations and made some good recommendations. Many Thanks for making our trip most enjoyable. I would most definitely recommend this hotel to all travelers.close

They were fantastic in helping with anything we needed to know and we quickly relaxed into budget hotel life. The place was always spotless and the cozy lounge is lovely. Location was perfect. Just 3 minutes walk from the Restored Sword Lake or only a 5 minute to night market. We will most certainly do it again, and highly recommend this small, friendly, personal lodge to anyone.close

Also, the hotel is able to arrange various day trips and tours. We booked a great day trip to Halong Bay through the hotel. The room was a nice, comfortable escape from dodging mopeds and loud honking horns. Our room had a computer with internet access, TV with cable, and daily plates of fruit and bottled water delivered. This may cost extra, just double check with the hotel on this. Breakfast was included and the menu consisted of both Vietnamese and western foods. We will stay at this hotel again on our next visit.close

There are so many and all are very good. Am suppprise that you need to ask the question regarding bargaining as I can see that you are from Singapore. I generally bargain to a compromise. You got to repect that the vendor still needs to make a living and what ever prices that you agreed on, it still be cheaper than if you were to buy the same item at home. This is because am from England and prices for everything here is extortionatate. The saving grace is that Sterling is one of he strongest currency on earth and it will go alonng way when we go to places in the Far East. High recommend this hotel to anyone.close
