This place sucked, it was loud, beds were worn out so you were sleeping on wood slats, staff didnt care, the room was a cave with no windows or vents of any kind, and we were put in a room on the first floor next to the kitchen and reception with no peace or privacy. We ended up staying at Los Encuentros where everything was great. The lady that runs the place was really helpful and friendly and rooms were very nice at 12 dollars per night.close

We booked Hotel Casa Rustica but on arrival we were told we had a booking in Don Valentino - not something we were very happy with. Our ratings reflect that property.

Great location, just around the corner from the main plaza. Rooms can be spacious, though a bit of a lucky dip. As expected with such a central location there can be noise on the weekend nights, though not really much of an issue. Got downgraded to Casa Rustica del Parque: definitely below standards for the price, stuffy room, ambianceless, not very friendly.

they charge 10% extra if you pay with credit card. the sign says only if you pay with VISA, however people paying with Mastercard pay the charge as well.

Visited during Semana Santa and their location was so close to everything. Very helpful staff for general or tourist questions, clean rooms and lots of common areas allow you to meet more people. They have Wi-fi, in which I was surprised for a budget hotel in an old colonial city. If you choose, you can do your own cooking in the shared kitchen. For the money, it is hard to beat this place.close

Very nice clean hostel, location is perfect, right near main square, quite basic but all you need. Double room had 3 double beds in it , so loads of space, very happy.

When I made the booking with HostelWorld.com for this Hotel when I got there they didn't speak any english and told me I did not even make a reservation. Half the items that were listed on hostel world that they had, they didn't. Also I paid my down payment online and they did not have any record of it and had never heard of HostelWorld.com and I had to pay it again. I recommend this hotel but for your moneys safety I would not book it again on Hostelworld.comclose

Casa Rustica is a very nice place... it's only one block from the central park and there are a lot of interesting things to do nearby. The staff is very nice, and really work hard to make your stay pleasant - like coming in early to fix me breakfast :-) They also offer laundry services, and... more Casa Rustica is a very nice place... it's only one block from the central park and there are a lot of interesting things to do nearby. This was such a wonderful and clean place to stay. All the staff are very helpful and friendly, and I was extremely pleased. It was just a really relaxing, welcoming atmosphere. Thank you guys!
