Great breakfasts as noted elsewhere. Attractive place about 10 min walk from the central plaza.

Very well run hostel. AMAZING breakfast. The best I´ve had included in a hostel in all of Latin America. Nice, very helpful staff. Clean rooms with comfortable beds. I would definitely stay here again!

This place had an awesome rooftop terrace! And a great breakfast! The room was nice, location was good. Our bathroom had a slight sewage smell but other than that everything was great.

I would like to recommend having a light over the mirror and also a lamp by the bed for reading. (Room 3)

The breakfasts are really really good (more than your usual toast and jam!) and Antigua is tiny so it´s not far at all from the centre and it´s almost better being a bit out from the central square because it´s a lot quieter.close

Really nice hostel, although a little far from the centre of Antigua. Dorms were clean and comfy with an ensuite. Food in the hostel was excellent. Would recomend it if you want a sociable place to stay that is not too noisy.

Really lovely hostel - more of a BB. Breakfast included and literally the best breakfast we had in Central America, amazing breakfast burritos and pancakes served in a little courtyard or on their roof overlooking the volcanoes.

Very relaxing, the people are so nice and there are so many places to sit and be quiet or sit and be social. Plus, the staff is so helpful. It's a bit off Central Park, though, which can be good or bad depending on what you're looking for.

The thing that makes this hostel so great are the people you meet there. It is set up so that it's very easy to meet others. The jewel of the hostel is the roof top terrace with a spectacular view of the city. Every day and night guest venture to the terrace where they are all too eager to share, talk, etc. I met some of the nicest people there and spent time with all of them. Plus, the food is awesome. The staff is awesome. Next time, I may only go to Antigua for my entire vacation. Make sure that if you go to Black Cat Antigua you go the Back Cat Inn. it's nicer than the "hostel" even though both are actually hostels and run by the same owners.close
