(When I chose to reserve a room, I forgot that... more The main frustration I had was the hotel's location; although a public transport system seems to exist in Guarda, it's either very erratic or I had bad luck with it--probably both--but the upshot was that I did a lot of walking over the weekend. (When I chose to reserve a room, I forgot that "close to the highway" often means "far from everything else.") The staff were helpful, and it's worth pointing out that they did speak English, otherwise I would have had a much rougher time.close
