my booking was not recognized and i had to pay twice the price shown on hostelworld.com. The room key did not work, so everytime I wanted to enter the room a security officer had to open the door for me.

Pretty basic hotel, though it's fair for the money. Friendly staff (though their English is not that good), nice rooms and the location near the train station is convenient for travellers. Pretty good choice if you want a nice place but are on a tight budget.

The place stank of mildew, the amenities didn't work, we were treated rudely by the staff, when telling them of the problem they just wanted to spray some stuff, got very annoyed with us when we wanted to move rooms (you couldn't stay with the smell and the bathroom not working!). While me and my bags more than 25 kilos needed to get a taxi, they refused to get me one. Instead I was sent to street to catch it by myself which took 30 minutes and if I weren't pushy with these agresively jumping in queue, woulda took for ever to get one.... I suggest Hostelworld to communicate with the management of this hotel since what we faced is they will said the deposit we paid is belong to Hostelworld. For the price, this isn't too bad. The friendly staff make up for the bssic amenities. You'd be smart to ask for a room on the quiet side--away from the railway tracks!

To summarize: This hotel do not exist any longer. We cycled for one hour in a taxi, the driver phoning several times the hotel for Directions. Without finding it. We cycled for one hour in a taxi, the driver phoning several times the hotel for Directions. Without finding it. Two Chinese people (the driver and the person at the other end of the line) were unable to comunicate efficiently !!!!! When in dispear he gave me his cell phone, the person I spoke to was hardly speaking English ( Was that hotel staff coming from another planet ?). What I understood was that the hotel had changed name and was no longer providing accomodation.... unbelievable for a booking made no longer than two weeks ago.... My advice: avoid at any cost. The one we finally went to was Tokai Hotel, tokaihotel.com for 430 for a Family room... Next day we changed for two twin rooms 278 each.close

The hostel is renewal established I guess. Everything seems alright but staffs cannot speak English and it's such a big deal when you need their help. Also, the chinese breakfast buffet is very poor cause' at 10 o'clock, the restaurant staff will get all the food served to eat though cutomers... more The hostel is renewal established I guess. If you write down their complaint number the drivers become much more reasonable, though.close
