Wonderful, wonderful place. You are treated like a part of the family whether you stay one night or ten, the prices are reasonable, and the staff go out of their way to help you. Very clean, good food, wifi internet. I wouldn't stay anywhere else!

very homely, family run place. I was made to feel like I was family from the off. The place is worth staying there just for the views you wake up to. I think the mother Irene was coming on to me though! but I would recommend the place and stay there again. find it on a map before you go though!...

Irene made so many types of Mexican drinks for us and breakfast was different every day, not to mention amazing! The decor is also very warm. It is not as close to the center of town, but that should not be a worry. I stayed at La Casa del Tío in Sept. and I would pick Casa de Dante over Tío any day!close

we enjoyed our stay, thanks a lot! a little warning to my fellow veggie travellers... the staff seem to think chicken is a part of the vegetarian diet (which obviously is not the case!). we weren't very pleasantly surprised when we found chicken in our "vegetarian" meals...

Really friendly hosts, I felt like I was a family guest, especially at breakfast - which were really great. The location is a bit tricky with all the steps, but great views especially from the patio.

Beautiful, characterful old house built into side of hill, halfway up long stone stairway. Staff friendly, breakfast excellent, stayed in room no.7, beautifully presented room, but en suite shower was a dribble. However, outside there was a terrace with a great view.

We tried calling their number but no answer. Since I am in the best health of the four (we are all senior citizens) I trekked up to place of lodging with much difficulty, but nobody was there. We then hired a cab to locate another hotel, since we could not stay at La Casa de Dante because we could not climb the many steps required, even if we could have located someone to carry the luggage. Their on-line advertising should have stated that the location is not for seniors or people with any kind of problems that would prevent them from climbing many steps. Because of the above stated reasons, and the additional cost to us because of their not describing the conditions at the hotel, we would not recommend their hotel. Also, I am going to instruct my credit card company not to pay the charges and place the charges in dispute. To protect your reputation, you might want to suggest that they add copy to their ad to prevent reoccurrence of this kind of situation. Sincerely, Richard Robinson PS I checked all Very poor because I don't really know how to rate the property for the reasons stated.close
