1. Youthhostel Grindelwald 87%      

   This is my favourite European hostel! It's a trek up a big hill to reach, but worth it. Breakfast is yogurt, cereal, meat, cheese, bread, and you look out from the balcony over the Eiger while eating. Nice rooms, clean bathrooms, and lovely fireplace to unwind and read at the end of the day.

2. Downtown-Lodge 84%      

   great hostel. HUGE ROOMS, friendly staff. nothing happening in november, its dead. there were 4 people in the whole hostel one night.

3. Hotel Aspen sw 84%      

   Wonderful sceney and delicious food. But we have to take a bus to there which is run hourly.

   A fantastic place to stay - very friendly staff and a lovely setting. The outside bar is also a great addition. Will definitely recommend.

4. Hotel Hirschen 83%      

   Pros: Proximity to railwaystation. Good food in the Restaurant. Bowling or other facilities for fun. access to a near by sports complex for ice skating and swimming. Cons: aged bathroom fittings.

   I found this hostel to be of a high standard but with a good deal or rules. The kitchen has designated opening times and even then it was closed. A nice place to visit though and we'd go back to Grindelwald again but maybe try somewhere else to stay.
