You have to rent a car or moto to go anywhere on the island. The language barrier was an issue with the owners ( English-Greek). Didn't feel wanted and they were ready for us to leave. Good hotel, bad experience!

If you want to stay around Pefkos this is the place to go. Exceptionally good owners who have great communication through the booking process and are even better when you get there. Where up and waiting for us when we got in at 3am, due to a late and delayed flight! Rooms and good, will nice... more If you want to stay around Pefkos this is the place to go. Exceptionally good owners who have great communication through the booking process and are even better when you get there. Where up and waiting for us when we got in at 3am, due to a late and delayed flight! Rooms and good, will nice pool, plenty of deck chairs and good quality Greek food just a couple of steps out of the pool. I don't think Esmeralda Hotel could have made our stay any more easier. I would definatly recommend it and will be back myself.close
