Great value, nice location, very clean. The owner was very helpfull, got us ferry info and car rental, and served us a nice breakfast everymorning. The apartment was a good size with a good shower with nice hot water. The apartments are located right on the beach and off the main street just... more Great value, nice location, very clean. this place awesome own bathrooms kitchen tv couch table 50mt to the beach!!!! awesome!!!!!! dont go here straight from off ferry its few hours on a bus go to hotel rea for one night or two then bus to here bus station is opposite ferry terminal! bus tickets expensive but only way

This place was 10km out of Chania, so it was a 20min bus ride into town. The buses were fairly constant though, but no so much fun when you're waiting in the sun in 35 degree heat! This would be a good place to make a base if you wanted to explore the western side of Crete as it has its own... more This place was 10km out of Chania, so it was a 20min bus ride into town. The buses were fairly constant though, but no so much fun when you're waiting in the sun in 35 degree heat! This would be a good place to make a base if you wanted to explore the western side of Crete as it has its own kitchenette so you could do some cooking and keep costs down. The beach that it backs onto is nothing special at all (but I am Aussie, so I'm pretty spoiled). Definitely a place to stay with friends or a couple, and not the place to stay if you're only there to see Chania. The breakfast (4 euro) was pretty substantial though.close

We were there in the off season so there was not much to do but the room was cheap and very nice and big. There are grocery stores and restaurants close by. The beach and the view were great.
