An excellent place to stay in heraklion but difficult to find in a car. Right next to the airport and in the centre of town so noise could be a proble for light sleepers

More like a hotel... we wenen't looking to make friends, just a clean relaxing place to stay that was centrally located. This hostel/hotel was perfect. TV and AC in our room were great.

We stayed on the 3rd floor but it was too noisy to sleep after 8 in the morning. Also there wasn't a phone in the room.

An excellent location and great staff. This is a hotel, not a fun type hostel. It was very clean and good service. Great deal for the price

Nice family run hotel, close to Venezian Fort, city centre. Ocean view, nice quite room, everything was as I expected,staff does a good job there !

We stayed in their cheapest room (I think) - there was no air conditioning (although a standing fan was provided) - but it did the trick. The hotel staff were happy for us to continue using the hotel as a base in 14 hours between our official check-out time and our flight home!

A good option for a quick stopover in an otherwise gritty city (Iraklion). Although not flashy and a little expensive for what you get, its one of the better options of whats available.

I have had a wonderful stay at Mirabello Hotel. It is a welcoming place and all my questions about Crete were answered in a quick and friendly fashion. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Great place to stay! Very clean as well. Definately would recommend staying here. It is also a short walk from great places to eat, to catch the bus and a great park as well. Thanks for the great service!

You couldn't ask for a better place to stay in Heraklion than the Mirabello Hotel. There are also many single rooms, for those who travel solo, like myself. The management is super-friendly, in that genuine Greek way, and will give advice on good places to eat, etc., that generally attract more locals than tourists. I was going to stay two nights, I ended up staying five. Many people who visit Crete are anxious to get to the coastal resorts and don't bother to spend time in Heraklion--but they're missing out. The city is well worth your time, and the staff at the Mirabello will help you find the best of it.close
