Would definitely recommend staying here if arriving in Crete at Heraklio port.close

Clean, helpful staff, quiet, and very centrally located (10min walk to bus station and less than 15mins to the port). I'm definitely going to stay there again before we catch the ferry back to Athens.

Generally a good, affordable place to stay. I have no idea why it didn't come up on any of my searches on Hostelworld in Heraklion. I only found it through a friend who told me about it, then I searched for it by name.

The staff were friendly enough and the hostel seemed close to a bunch of bars and stuff but the general area seemed to be a bit of a dive compared with the rest of the Greek Islands. The rooms were clean though.

we had holes in our towels, stains in our sheets. there was one balcony that had access to other rooms, so we did not feel completely safe.

Good location, walkable from bus and port. staff were the nicest of any place we stayed over 2 weeks. the actual hostel is ok, nothing special. but it's cheap, clean & has a good location. (the area right around the hostel isn't great, kinda down a back street, but less than a couple blocks...

Nice place, pretty standard for a hostel. The staff are amazing though and can help you out with almost anything you need. Very clean and close to the pedestrian walking area.

The hotel staff was REALLY nice too (a diamond in the rough).close

It is however a great place for small groups of two or more. We really enjoyed our stay.close

close to the center. other than that, everything was just really basic. If you're not looking for anything exceptional, this place is just fine.

Very nice staff with some nice bars and restaurants around. Unfortunately, very noise during the night because of the scooters and dogs barking.

Location is alright and the hostel gives a 70's feel to it. Shower is not great and room is quite minimal. Upside is that the staff(the female owner especially) is very friendly and helpful and they give good recommendations for restaurants too.

The place is very old and not very clean. The location is ok, it's in the center of Hiraclion. The guy at the reception wanted us to pay for a Fiat seicento as much as you usually pay for a much bigger car. You have to pay a lot for a breakfast that is very poor.

The name of the the remain they mentioned on the web can't be found @ the location anywhere, even you passed it several times, we aren't sure where it is. We spent over an hour to get there. We arrived but the room was not vacant, so we asked for a place to have our breakfast. Since we didn't pay for their breakfast, the staff was very unfriendly and didn't tell us where the guests have breakfast. We had to sat at 2 small chairs @the doorway with many things around, until one swiss family went downstairs to have breakfast.close
