cheapest in its class to be located so close to the beach.(almost right up to the sands). Also, right next to South Indian veg hotel, for those who prefer veg only. Helpful staff.

The electricity in Colva goes off regularly so if you stay here, MAKE SURE you ask for an air-conditioned room, it is not a luxury, it's a necessity.close

We were meant to stay for a week but left after a couple of nights. An illegal nightclub nearby was causing a racket! The hotel owners were trying to sort out this problem.

The accommodation had a great location near Colva beach, which is definitely more relaxing than other beaches if that's what you're looking for. The staff (Laurence in particular, he is the owner) are helpful and friendly. The beds are a bit firm. Good value for money spent.

One tap (so there is no really warm or hot water) is a clear disadvantage. Apart from that the place is ok. Nice people, good location.

If you're looking for karaoke bars then there are a couple right next door. It's ok though, the beach is only 30 seconds walk. Staff were mostly friendly although the receptionist girl seemed quite frosty and one of the porters/waiters said "I want you" when I went ti pick up a beer.......

Absoultley Fantastic.... You wont find a better Location, with Cleaner rooms, Awsome Staff (Loris Rocks!!!) and a price that makes YOu smile from Ear to Ear..and thats coming from a backpacker! Thanks La ben!! James+Mum , Sydney Australia

clean room but grotty bathroom. bit expensive for a single traveller as you pay for a double.personally i'd stay in benaulim just down the coast, colva ok to visit but there isn't much character to the place.

Cannot say enough good things about the hotel and the staff. They were really helpful and Lawrance the owner was a real gentleman host. Would strongly recommend the hotel and the resort of Colva to any traveller.

I left the hotel after 2 hours (!) and went to a five star hotel (Kenilworth) close by which costed only a little more $50 instead of 20$ for the La Ben. But the people were nice at the La Ben; it's only, that I am not used to such simple facilities :-)
