Pierogi are a sort of Polish dumpling/ravioli and they come in two main types: savoury (meats, cabbage, mushrooms, cheese, eggs etc) or sweet (fruit or jam-filled), fried or boiled. They can be quite filling and are rather heavy so don't try to eat too many of them, but if you are going to eat them anywhere this is the place to do so. They were without a doubt the best pierogi I've ever eaten in Poland, period.close
