It was nice that the owner made soup for all guest and that was nice. The linen was so clean but the room was not so clean. Showers was broken and one day we have no hot water. Location is fantastic. No respect for no-smokers.

I think this hostel is better than what people have written, I stayed 2 nights and it was not crowded, I stayed alone in a room for 5 people!! Good b´fast, nice staff and also the owner was nice!! Close to the train station and walking distance to the town center!! Overall a nice place, I just didn't like that the main door was always unlocked. They have cookies in the common room all day though and the staff is nice.

Rooms were basic and clean, probably amongst the cheapest in town. Breakfast was good, with eggs, bread and a variety of spreads. Free chocolate biscuits, coffee and close to bus and train stations.

this is the worst hostel i´ve been in. there were beds placed on a corridor!!! just 2 showers for all the hostel and it was filthy...the beds were stuffed in the room, no place to leave luggage, even on the floor!!! not advisable

Fun, until the moment we knew our booking was useless : we had to wait IF they could find a place... I spoke with 2-3 different ppl, and that was exactly the same problem.

If there is nothing else avalable it is ok, but I can't recommend this hostel. Poor security, poor showers, and crowded dorms.

Was not the best place we have stayed, but the owner does make a great soup at night which was free. Breakfast was great as they serve boiled eggs, a change from the normal dry bread. The major let down was the staff, who where not nice at all.

Two things that blows: no lockers; not enough hot water for guests (in short; you pretty much have only could water when you go on shower, if the hostel is world). Staff is good and friendly.

Security and location ratings down because a bit out of the way and didn't feel over safe getting there, but had good people once we got there and managed to enjoy my night staying there. Was in a good location in regards to accessing the station etc, but not the best for trawling around by...

make sure you take the tunnel out of the railway stn, it leads onto 3 Maja St and the hostel is about 3 minutes walk and the entrance is right next to the highway overbridge.

after trying to find this hostel for aaaages we finally found it (the directions given on here are completely misleading!!!) we found ourselves in the middle of loads of really old scary buildings covered in graffiti and surrounded by stray cats and we found it cause an old woman shouted at us... more after trying to find this hostel for aaaages we finally found it (the directions given on here are completely misleading!!!) we found ourselves in the middle of loads of really old scary buildings covered in graffiti and surrounded by stray cats and we found it cause an old woman shouted at us and pointed to it! (she must have seen people get lost here before) its a really creepy building and once you have gone through the main door you greeted by a dark scary old staircase and a woman in a booth who smokes about 100 a day! the hostel is on the 1st floor, our room was ok but we had to go through someone elses room 2 get to it?! which meant their door could never be locked.. i felt pretty unsafe ther, the staff werent really helpful and there was only 1 working shower which was held together by a hairband and no longer working by the time we left. i was glad to leave :Dclose

Difficult to find despite various directions being used. However, nice touches with free breakfast and food throughout the day. The staff went out of their way to help me when I twisted my ankle and could hardly walk.

The hostel is for sure one of the best I've ever been. The stuff is great and make sure you don't miss the special afternoon soup of Tomek :) Really close to the station and to the center. I really suggest to come here, you will really feel like at home!

Nice staff, but very noisy hostel as near to the train. We were in a eight bedroom dorm, but another room could be only accessed through our room. Noise from trains the whole night. Tv on non-stop. Good location though near the main train station. Lovely soup at night.

Convenient location by the train station, but in a word: depressing! They do not actually have luggage storage (you can just leave your bag in the lobby), the staff is somewhat cold, and no one there seemed to be happy.

I stayed about four nights, and that might have been a little much for a place like this. It's great for a quick crash pad, because it's so near to the train station.
