Nothing bad top say about the place but nothing stood out to me over the place. You get what you pay for.

Really nice hostel. Walking distance from the main part of town. Could do with some more ventilation in the bathrooms so they weren't always damp but the staff made an effort to make me feel right at home. Nice big kitchen and free breakfast :)

Dom is a great guy. Everyone there seemed great. The room was tiny, however if you just wanted to sleep in there, then it is the place for you.

The showers have terrible water pressure, you may aswell stand out in the rain cuz you'll get a better wash. Good location. Highly recommend the Galway Tour Co trip to Burren and Cliffs of Moher - amazing.

The location is gorgeous, the staff quite helpful. Breakfast for free is a financial relief indeed. Yet, the rooms are so small, that u dont know where to place your stuff. So 40€ for a twin bed like this is no bargain. Plus, the walls are wet(!!) and start moulding(!!).Same with the...

This is one of the smelliest places I have ever been in. thats including all buildings not just hostels. Its tiny and there is no room to put ANY stuff if you are in a dorm. Everyone that stays here is a little older as well...and everyone is job hunting as well because its a cheap place to stay...

I had a great time in the hostel, very relaxed people there. If I would visit Galway again, I would deffenatly stay at the Claddagh again.

The security is pretty average here! Our 10 person room was never locked by anyone and anyone could have walked in off the street and stolen something.

It's a pretty good hostel. It's close to everything. My bed wasn't great, since it had no ladder, but all the other beds in a room of 8 were fine. Showers are nice. It's not really a party hostel, at least not while I was there. A lot of the people were watching movies or on their laptops.

I really enjoyed my time in Claddagh. The breakfast and the free internet are great!! The place it's 2 blocks from the bus station and it's a very quiet place at night. The only uncomfortable thing was that the showers are upstairs if you are in the first floor.

I loved this hostel and it feels like a home after only 5 days here. I am settling in Galway for a few months and the staff have been most helpful in sorting things out, advice and are just friendly all round. My only comment is that it could do with a few more showers.

The moment we arrived we were invited down to the common room to watch a hurling match on tv and have some pizza. The staff was great...friendly and welcoming. The facilities, especially the kitchen, were easily accessible and convenient.

Great staff there, very helpful and very courteous. Galway is fairly limited of a place so it was right in city centre. Would stay there again, but not in a hurry to go back to Galway. Worth staying at though!
