I tried to email and then ring to organise a refund but to no avail. I still haven't heard back, not cool given that we drove a half hour to return a key we accidentally took with us. Otherwise the place was clean, the rooms nice and the breakfast great. The lady in charge was courteous but I think she was a bit taken aback by our appearance and didn't come across as overly friendly. Also, we were told the spa in the top room doesn't work. Be assured it does, and well :Dclose

They didn't let us know about the mix up until we arrived. The location is also quite different to that indicated on the map within hostelworld, it is actually a 10min drive further AWAY from the city, not so convenient if you don't want to drive.close

The house and room was clean and nice however a bit dissapointed as the landlady always put an unfriendly face oh her face..I had high expectation on it as I had review those comments before but this is not the case..Overall not a pleasant.

Unfortunately my booking was cancelled by hostelworld.com (without telling me.....) when I arrived in Rusheen Bay House....but Anne was great. She phoned one of her neighbours to find a room for me and I stayed in Amber Bay then. But that was great!!!!!!!!!!!!

Place was one of the nicest B&Bs any of us had seen. It is beautiful, right on the water. Staff was knowledgable and very willing to help with things like extra duvets, etc. REALLY RECOMMEND STAYING HERE!!

A taxi will get you there in 5 minutes and cost about 6 Euro - but why rush? By the way, this is more like a B & B than a hostel, but very relaxed all the same.close

This place was wonderful. Beautiful location and close enough to downtown Galway to be interesting, but far enough away to be out of the crowds. The staff was wonderful and the typical Irish breakfast (included) was great. Rooms were very clean and a decent size. Definitely recommend this place.
