This is not a hostel... this seems to be a 4 stars hotel. Excelent!

It was a great place. One of the best on our trip where we stayed in multiple cities in Ireland. Patrick and Antony (plus Buttons the dog) were great and created a very homey and warm atmosphere. The place was spotless and felt like home away from home. Patrick and Anthony were so helpful! It is a short drive from the City Center. So if your looking for loads of action this is not the place for you. If your looking to play then have a place to come back to that's quiet and relaxing,... more The place was spotless and felt like home away from home. Patrick and Anthony were so helpful! Amber Bay B&B was my favorite place to stay in Ireland. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were very clean and decorated beautifully! The location was far from the center of town .. but it still had an amazing view of the bay! I was sincerely impressed and would gladly...

Brilliant hotel, very modern n trendy, will defo be back again if in galway in the future, all those special touch like easter eggs on table and mints on the beds. Yummy! Definitley recommended it to anyone!

perfect peacefull and very clean. our room had a dvd player and a fridge, we also had a safe in the room and the staff at this place were really friendly and helpfull. it was like staying at a 4* hotel, everything was top class and great value for money. we will return....

staff is very friendly and helpful; to make the stay more pleasable only some little suggestion:the kettle in the room and the shower mat were dirty and not usable what affects a bit the general good impression of the room

We didnt actually end up staying at Amber Bay as they called on the day to say that as they were having problems with hot water and heating they had booked us into another B&B down the road which they owned. Staff were very apologetic, friendly and helpful, and the standard of their B&B...

We had a great time in Galway except for the fact that it rained pretty much the entire time we were there which necessitated our needing to take a cab everywhere which was rather pricey. We would have preferred to have been able to walk and see more of the community.
