The rooms are grim but relatively clean. The breakfast area and lobby is surprisingly cosy in the mornings, full of families. Staff are very friendly altough they don't speak much english. Easy to locate from the subway station. Good for a quick stopover but not good if you're looking to meet...

Nice business hotel. Very very easy to find, close to the subway and there is a big sign in english outside. Interior is bit dated but clean. Staff is very friendly.

Directions to the hotel were confusing. We were directed to walk toward a place that must meant something to locals but we had no idea. CXould have directed us toward something we could locate

The hotel is close to the subway and it`s clean. The staff is very friendly but doesn`t really speak english. The place is very old and a little bit rundown, but the rooms are ok.

I think the price, location and staff are hard to beat in Fukuoka. The hotel is only a short walk from Ohori park and very near the subway. It is a bit hard to find as there sign is only in hiragana and kanji.

it was very hard to find - the sign is in kanji, so we couldn't read it. the rooms are small, but it is a place to just sleep. I dont' think it is a meeting people place, although there was a big group of sports people. I think that it is great if you just need somewhere to sleep, and aren't...

My second review for this hotel. Its at a good location but the smoking rooms are a bit painful. Try to get a non-smoking room if you smoke. Just smoke in the lobby if you need to. Breakfast is great and the staff is excellent. Highly recommended!

If you want to go to see baseball or conserts, Heiwadai Hotel is the best, because it's only one subway stop away from Yahoo dome and Zepp Fukuoka. And you need to use only one subway line if you are coming from the airport or from Hakata station. Very convinient. Staff is also very nice,...

English sign outside of hotel name, and map of how to get there, clear instructions eg. turn left first street as you get out of exit two, walk towards building with huge signs (blue and white -running down side of building). this is mainly for non japanese speakers/reader. thanks KT

The location is pretty good too as there are a number of bars about 3-5 blocks away that were a lot of fun. This was a fairly difficult place to find though. Its on the second floor of what looks like an apartment building. If you get to the Lawson's at the corner you've gone too far, its about 30-50 yards back.
