It seems easy. Book a hostel for a few days and then find a studio, apartment, room or whatever may come... well its not. PLEASE BOOK YOUR PERMANENT APARTMENT IN ADVANCE! |

i was really surprised by this city - went to watch Tour De France, but wish i could have stayed longer to check it out a bit more. Atmosphere is pleasant, buildings & architecture lovely - would definitely recommend a visit if only for a weekend |

The town is very cute, lots of cathedrals and things to see but the weather is not so nice in summer with humidity and heat! |

Strasbourg was a bit of a surprise to us. We didn't really know what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised. It is a very funky and pretty city with alot fo young and trendy people and themes. |

strasbourg has this particular atmosphere due to its history, french, german, independant... you can feel all these influences, giving a certain charm to the city.
the old part of the city is just wonderful, in good chape, touristic but quite, old stones, cathedral... and the houses, like the ones we always wanted to have to play with dolls!!
really, you will love this city for its charm and houses, and the river, durng the day, and its nightlife.
i often hear two negative things about strasbourg: weather is terrible... well, yeah it's not Marseilles... but 400 000 inhabitants survive, so you can... and people say that people here are cold and closed to other people.. false!! open, smiling... you feel welcome in here, and i think it's due to this german character coming from the history of this frontier city, so no problem for that!! |

I had a good time in Stasbourg. It is a really pretty city. The Petite France quarter is very cute and the buildings and river are awesome. |

The Christmas Markets are wonderful!! Take a boat tour (in front of Palais Rohan for 3,50 reduced price, 7 euro full) around the city for a great tour. Tram and bus system very easy to use, Kehl Germany only 20 minutes away by Strasbourg public transportation but there isn't much there. La Petite France is a must. |

The city is amazing, it is lovely. The Flammecuchke are deliciuos, but nothing more to eat. There is not much craic. But i say it again, the city it is absolutely beautiful and romantic. |

This is probably my favorite city in France. Everything was clean and the lack of traffic made it extremely quiet. The architecture blew me away and Germany was just 30 mins by tram/bus for 2 euro. What more could you ask for??! |

Unlike anywhere else in France. It looked like Disneyworld. And the food was out of this world. |

We we're up from Italy to see a concert (that was cancelled) and were impressed with a beautiful city. Pleasant people and a lot to see. |

Central location + parking included = ++.
It was for the end of march rather cold and rainy, but the city look and atmpsphere are very nice indeed. Bring a good weather with you :) |

Lovely city, very pretty buildings, nice city center canals and fabulous Cathedral. Very good food too. I overnighted here on a few occasions on longer trips and I think it's a fine stopover or ideal for a long weekend. |

This is the BEST facility I have ever stayed in! You get more than your money\'s worth here. Very Very clean. Just a few minutes walk away from the city center. Very safe neighborhood and facility. Slept like a baby; my friends and I stayed on a Friday nite til Saturday morning! The Staff were very very helpful! They didn\'t make me feel bad at all for the litle bit of french I knew ;) The breakfest was small, but croissants were delicious! There is a small free parking lot that belongs to the facility around back. If arrive at nite you can park on the streets but have to pay after 0700 (am). |

Easy to find and to get around in Strasbourg. A simple hotel which is convenient for those who plan spending their whole day sightseeing. The area, though, is not superb, once usual central places around railway stations can look gloomy. But it was worth the budget price. |

Strasbourg is a beautiful city in general but during the christmas markets it really is special. The cold weather together with all the beautiful lighting and decorations around Strasbourg at this time make it feel like the perfect christmas. The markets have some amazing presents and sell some good food too. Most important things to see: The Cathedral, Petite France, Place Broglie & Place Kleber. And the European Parliament. Strasbourg would make the perfect weekend break at any time of the year but definitely Christmas! |

Mightily impressed with Strasbourg as a weekend destination break. Has exceeded my expectations. Went for the Christmas Markets this year which is a special time to visit. The old-world charm of the city under Christmas lights cannot fail to bring out the Christmas spirit. Will definitely head back again. |
